Great to have you back!

I've read this series a number of times. Firstly, I like the plot progression and how you've organised the chapters as a whole. There's certainly little redundancy, which is always one of the biggest problems in fanfiction. Secondly, I love the characterisation (particularly Richard and Faith) and POVs. Your POV switches flow well and you haven't gone overboard with them (a problem I've found with the Song of Ice and Fire series by Martin, which by the end of a book actually leaves me feeling 'stretched' because I've been pushed and pulled in so many directions for little or no plot purpose).

I'm looking forward to reading more. The end scene with Yvette was particularly funny by the way. Faith is hilarious as usual.

Thanks. I'm trying to highlight how much of a difference it makes to have Faith there instead of Anita and how the world of St. Louis changes because of that as well. And I hear you on the POV switches. A few POV are good, too many make it hard to read. The story will remain mostly Faith's POV, but with one or two others thrown in here and there. Stories told exclusively from a single POV can be good, but it's rather limiting sometimes, as it necessiates a lot of exposition.

YESSSSSSS!!!!!

The by-far-the-best Buffy/Anita Blake crossover story is back on the road!

In case you haven't grasped this, I am very happy about this. He He He...

I have to admit to not even being able to recall who Yvette is, but she's clearly Morte D'Amour's representative. John Burke? A powerful Animator Anita briefly dated, if I recall. His appearance is a nice reminder that Anita had a circle of friends outside of the blood-drinking and shape-shifting variety. He's no Anita, though, or anything close, so if the Council decide to literally throw him out or "Whammy" him, that's just what is going to happen. Also, I presume Dolf and Zerbrowski will put in an appearence with the police showing up at the Circus of the Damned? I wonder whether they'll want to shake Faith's hand for killing what did in Anita, or Arrest her for that little "incident" with the Master of Beasts which left his remains on the floor in very small pieces...

Edward will come to St.Louis, surely, once he hears Anita's dead? Given his wish to take on and kill the very worst of the very worst, Faith might find herself in interesting circumstances... Is this before Edward becomes "Marshall Ted Forrester"? The timeline suggests it. I do wonder if Van Cleef, Edwards old boss, might put in an appearance with Faith becoming the God Wolf, even though she's been "here" all along thanks to the Key?

Then there's Marmee Noir, now deprived of the Master Necromancers body she wanted to take for herself. Where will her attention shift to next? Not Faith, but maybe one of the Council? That's a worrying thought, to put it mildly, although it's not the biggest problem at the moment...

Angel, who is violating every natural Law just by exisiting in this place, is that. To quote "Fringe": "The Laws of Physics became mere suggestions..." I hope that hypodermic of Dawn's blood Faith has is still good...

Update soon and keep up the good work!

Nice to hear you are happy. And while I haven't really mapped out this series past this episode (plus some loose ideas for the next) you can expect to see Edward at the very least (though not in this episode). I haven't read any of the Anita Blake novels past "Incubus Dreams", so I only know the Wikia digest of what went on with Marmee Noir later on. Not sure I'll play it like that or completely different. We'll see.

Thank you for restarting this series. It was a good one, and it was depressing when it stopped. Now, however, it is returning in a very exciting way. Cheers!

An update, huzzah! Yes, long enough that I'd forgotten about this little gem. May need to reread, cuz you gotta have Faith, right?
I know I've been missing her, and this has been a really good crossover for her so far.
I hope you are well and that we get to see more story sooner rather than later. Thanks for picking this back up. :)

That last line from Faith about killed me :D im really enjoying this story, its very unique. I stoped being a fan of Anita when she started screwing everyone lol so her death and the introduction of Fauth as a main player, makes this story primo in my books... Will you ever continue?

Okay, this is seriously one of the best Faith-centric crossover series out there. I love it very much and will likely reread it the next time I catch up with my unread new stuff. Maybe before.
I dearly hope this continues, the characterization has been great, the dialogue is fun, plots and mystic mechanics actually make sense, and poor Richard is being redeemed!
Thank you so much for writing and sharing, and may inspiration strike often and only in good ways. :)

I have really enjoyed this series, bringing Faith along from saving Dawn to saving the world of Laurel K Hamilton. The idea of the wolf god was a great way to challenge the way a slayer could stay in this world and actually exist. I am sorry that Anita had to die but in doing so, you have created another opportunity for Faith to save the day and thanks for saving Richard and Jean Claude and for already giving Asher a sense of Jean Claude. Please continue this series, I hope to see more.

Yay! ^^ Asher has arrived! And what a twist with Angel. I don't mean to poke holes...cause we all know that hole-poking is not of the good, but why didn't the world create a new identity/creature species for Angel when he arrived? Sure he's hyped up on demon powers, but technically, so was Faith. Anyways, it's been ages since I last read this series and I'm excited to see that it's still being written. ^^ I can't wait for an update.
Comments from author:
Faith travelled to this new world by way of the Key, which "attuned" her to that dimension. Angel went by way of demonic powers, very much "out of tune". When I get around to writing the next chapters (hopefully before more years pass), I'll explain that.
