Loved this line, especially: "You'd be surprised how many people will take your hand if just you hold it out."
And I do hope that Dawn will, as you hinted in this story, be able to BEND events just a bit so that Donna won't have to lose all her memories of the Doctor, after saving the universe!
I look forward to reading more of Dawn and the Doctor!

Quite nice! Not nearly as angsty as I would have thought for the end... the rest seemingly playing perfectly, but then the end kinda just... ending. But alas. It was good, the relationship was neat and well explained with Dawn and Nine. Good job!

Liked the AU touch at the end... and the whole story overall. I'd love to see a continuation or inbetween adventures if you feel so inclined. Thanks for sharing!

I kind of am inclined. I'm a HUGE Dr. Who fan, and I need something to tide me over until the new season in 2010, something other than the 4 short specials between now and then. *sigh* - D
