Huh. Now this just leaves me itching to ask/demand/beg for the details of the backstory.... Little Tommy certainly did end up in a place with a firm belief in both second chances and preventing further mayhem - something Dumbledore failed at. (Dumbledore - believer in second chances? Apparently for people who aren't named Black. Keeps everyone else safe from death/dismemberment/harmful magic? ummm... no.) So Ginny's the liaison between the British Wizarding World and the Council? And she's got a thing for Spike?

Very interesting, and I think it could grow into an interesting longer story, if you tease it a little. (Begging doesn't work on plot bunnies. For me, neither does bribery involving chocolate (a very sad thing indeed.) Sometimes teasing them does. So look at that plot bunny with it's twitchy pink nose and repeat after me - nyahhhhh nyahhhh You can't make me write more, you can't do it... nyahhhh.... oh, look - here comes a bunny now.)
