Even better than the original! Hiding amongst the masses really would be a better idea than hiding her with the one group on the planet that would probably find out what she really was.

You know what? I am liking this series. With Cordelia's insights it is helping the group a lot, and makes more since then some of the programs did when BTVS was on the air. I am also glad that Ben/Glory was immediately taken care of, but I am sure you will explain how the Wilderbeast is now Dawn in the next one. There will be a next one right?
Comments from author:
It's an alternative scenario to the Dawn Chase one from the first story; in the Wildebeest-verse Cordelia remains an only child.
There probably won't be a next one as such - but I will post 'I am the Walrus', in which the Key is a large marine mammal, here eventually. Also 'Sunnydale Passions', which also features the Monks of Dagon coming up with a different idea for how to hide the Key.

Okay, now that was just silly, at its' best. Still, the idea worked - to a point, I suspect, hmm?

It makes you think you know...almost anything would have been better than a sister...even a Walrus!

Comments from author:
The running 'walrus' joke is a reference to my old story 'I am the Walrus' in which they really do make the Key into a walrus.
EDIT: now posted here.
