Still one of the best stories I have found on any of the Fic sites.

A real shame you only wrote a single short in this universe after this story. So you made Xander super-powered? Begin a crossover that is more his power level now. Heck, what if the intative manage to clone him? Or some magic user gets wise and banishes him to the X-men universe? Dawn, more aware of her status as the key ealier starts diminsion hopping, and Xander tags along?

A Xander who merely had Magneto's memories would have little effect on Sunnydale but a Xander with the university degree's you seemed to claim he has...and the attitude they were introduced with?
Sunnydale should have changed. Dramatically.

If he truly cared about protecting his people and the only thing holding him back was Willow, why wasn't the first thing he did be to start counseling her? Or get enough money together to hire a professional psychologist or team of psychologists and counselors for all the Scoobies to hide that his true target was Willow?

Once she was stable he'd have been able to release his inner genius to increase the likelihood of everyone surviving living on a Hellmouth.

For that matter why, when the chips were down didn't he decide, "Sorry Willow, but the needs of the many... Please let her survive this."

As it was he wasn't prepared to protect Sunnydale's citizens, Willow, Giles, Jenny, or Buffy.

Wouldn't Magneto have been prepping to hand out combat armor? Communication devices? Surveillance over the town?
What would the real Magneto have done? How much would Sunnydale have changed if he was really there?

Yet another read through and it's still a great story. So sad though. ;_;

Excellent story and definitely deserving of the awards it's won, but without being part of a complete series, it feels like it lacks adequate closure.

I love your characterization of Magneto. However, I'm not too fond of Super!Xander and the way that all the girls fell in love with him. I think that Xander would have more trouble reconciling both sides of his personality than he has. Although that could be Erik's methods of repressing coming through.

Anyway, thank you for sharing this.

The story was great. I only know a bit of Magneto's history but i love how you go into his past and the reasons he did it. Always felt that he was giving the villain status when he only wanted to protect his people. Xander was a perfect fit. Always thought he needed more in the series. It will be one story that i will reread.

Great story you blended the two series perfectly in my opinion. also liked how you had glory come earlier in the time line. i always wondered why they never had two big bad at one time that were going after everyone
