Review of chapter "Chapter Fifteen (end)" from AtemuXSunehri
Review:
This story is really good! You did really well describing a marriage law option between Snape and Hermione.
I love how Snape doesn't want to get attached to Hermione in the beginning and how Hermione is really determined not to cry!

Review:
How about a pairing warning in the intro so readers who HATE Hermione with Draco or Snape don't have to waste their time finding out what sort of pseudo-rape scenarios you have in mind?

Review:
Despite some of the somewhat harsher parts of this fic I think that this fic is absolutely wonderful. A sequel to this fic would be interesting however not necessary.
Again I love this wonderful fic please continue writing such wonderful fics.

Review of chapter "Chapter Fifteen (end)" from AMRA
Review:
Continued from previous review... I would love to see a sequel as the wall between them as teacher/student was entirely in character and believable, but now I am really interested in seeing the development into their adult, life-long relationship that is beginning with a mutual respect and trust.

Please consider another!!

Thanks!

Thanks... This is one of my favourite SS/HG fics... although, my romantic nature would have liked them to have ended up growing into a real loving relationship built on this mutual respect you have developed.

Well written, character development... I really enjoyed the fact that the characters stayed believable!

Review:
I really enjoyed the entire fic, and I'm looking forward seeing where you go with the remix as well (I'll be reviewing it too - I like what I see already) - I think this fic was one of the best of the Marriage Law fics out there, and I always looked forward to new chapters of it.

I'll patiently await the sequel whenever you put it to virtual paper...
And, I had a query of my own - the Bill/Hermione idea is shapping up to be quite fascinating - but I also wonder what your take on a Draco/Hermione might be - or, to bring it into a TTH situation, how the ML could, well, twist the BtVS/AtS worlds, as well - a Willow/Severus from THAT perspective could very well rock... Heck, I think if you did your grocery list, that would work...

Anyway, thanks so much... I enjoyed it immensely... I just wish other stories in the challenge had completed already - although I write myself and know what it takes - I always want to see how someone else is going to end their stories.... *You* never disappoint.

Cheers,

Tracey

PS - hope I got the rating right - I meant 10 out of 10 pts.

Review of chapter "Chapter Fifteen (end)" from Seoid
Review:
I thought it was fantasitc! ! !
The truest example I've ever seen of Snape. Ever. It was very honest, and he was not re-created or romanticized in any way.
I just had one question, which, probably doesn't matter, since the fic's over and done with, but, where was Hagrid? (I realize it'd be impossible, and also hinders the flow of the story, to include everyone, but they seemed pretty close confidants in the books.)

Review of chapter "Chapter Fifteen (end)" from Ezmerelda
Review:
Well, it wasn't a fairy tale ending, but you never lead anyone to believe that it would be, so that's all right.

At least it ended on a positive note. It was realistic, though, as long as she was his student there would be a wall between them. Now that it's gone, they can actually get to know each other as adults.

Thanks for writing! ~"~

Review of chapter "Chapter Fifteen (end)" from AngusH
Review:
The ending is hopeful which is nice. The possibility of future happiness seems to exist. When I first started reading this story a while back I decided to stop and wait for the last chapter to appear before reading because I it really got to me.
I think your rendition on Snape was probably exactly right. I think that he probably would take some time to adapt to the situation and his father offers motivation for his general behaviour.

Thank you for writing this story.

Aww, I'm glad everything seemed to turn out okay. No romance, which I think is admirable for you to write about. It makes it seem more...realistic, I guess.
All in all, I definitely love it!!!

Review:
this was a great story. It wasnt all hearts and roses, but how can you have a story like that with Snape as a main character? :-) If you ever get around to writing a sequal, I would love to read it.

Review of chapter "Chapter Fifteen (end)" from Clannadlvr
Review:
Oh, god, Jinni, you broke me.

You absolutely broke me with this story.

Thank you so much for giving us a realistic tale, one that didn't end in hearts in flowers, but had it's denouement in mild-to-firm affection and respect.

If he didn’t find something redeeming about her, something spectacular in its own right, he would never have made the effort.

That's exactly it! This marriage contract, as midevil as it may seem, did have the positive benefit of connecting two people who would probably have never made the effort if not for the decree. Sure, it's not true love, it's just becoming true friendship, but not all bonds are created through passion. Some are just created through understanding.

You show us this the best when you focus in on Harry, Hermione, and Ron at the end. When I look into the future for the golden trio, it makes sense that they probably won't see each other as often, and Hermione will be oft cut off from their adventures...but their connection and commitment to each other is built on something stronger than distance and inconvenient marriages to "greasy gits". That knife edge moment that they share from childhood to adult hood brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. Their friendship is the forever kind...and to be honest, that gives me hope for Hermione's friendship with Snape as well.

Thank you for your amazing writing. It's a gift...and we're so lucky that you choose to share it with us!!
