Nice work. We can see the breaking down of old barriers, oh so slowly. And the building of new bridges, even if neither will admit it yet.

Official theme song for this short: "Roy Rogers" by Elton John. If you haven't heard it yet listen to it. Great little peak at the early days, and possibly a foundation for a stronger relationship than they had in canon - i.e. fighting and making out.

This is a very insightful look into Xander and Cordelia's relationship. They both wear masks, and it was cool to see when they both first glimpsed that there was something more to the other than their facade.
I have to say, you had me really worried that Xander was in major trouble with drugs or other horrible things, besides fighting vampires, anyway. To find out it was a kid's show was sweet. I guess most teenagers would find this a horrible, shameful, thing though. I thought the desire for a simpler world it made a lot of sense.
Cordelia's explanation was a great peek into what makes her tick.
I love this couple, darn 'the fluke'!
You wrote a sweet, insightful, and believable story on one of my favorite couples.
Great job! Keep it up! There isn't enough Xander/Cordy!

I was very touched by the humanity of both of them, and I thought this was an excellent scene. I've always been a sucker for this pairing and I truly like the "voices" you gave them.
