Review of chapter "Not Another Blonde Cheerleader..." from SlowMercury
Review:
Nancy Drew as a slayer is awesome and makes a lot of sense, especially if she was called before the mass Awakening; if she was a Slayer, The it would definitely explain why you don't read any books about her solving mysteries as an adult. And if Slayers have different strengths, Nancy would probably be *really good* at figuring out what the other side was doing.

I especially enjoyed the Susan one; it makes sense that Susan would have drifted apart from her siblings by the time of The Last Battle if she was out fighting vampires every night and didn't want to tell them (and she could easily have interpreted the conversation with Aslan as a command not to). It probably seemed easier to let them think she was dressing up to chase boys instead of coming up with another reason for dressing up as vamp bait every night. I'm a bit confused by something another commentator said, though--why would Buffy be jealous of Susan? If they met after Chosen, Buffy would definitely already know there are serious problems inherent in being in charge like a Queen is. Maybe Buffy's jealous of Susan's poise? Buffy is kind of a spaz sometimes.

The idea of Britt as a slayer is funny! I hope Santana's going to back her up or else the new Council never asks Britt to be an active slayer, because otherwise I don't think she's going to live very long... :)

Anyway, lovely snippets into all those futures that didn't happen. Nice work.

I liked all these little stories, but the JJ/Criminal Minds and Susan/Narnia ones were my favorites. But you made me laugh with the Glee crossover. I'm not sure Brittney is really stupid. She seems more like Luna Lovegood in that they really don't exist completely in their individual 'real worlds'. As I wrote earlier, I agree that C S Lewis treated Susan very badly in the books. With her as a Slayer, I feel much better about her final destiny. Writing of Luna Lovegood, wouldn't she make a marvelously strange Slayer? Lol!

Giving Fi Slayer powers is a scary good idea. I'm just imagining her blowing up vampire nests...

Do you take suggestions?

I do take suggestions and I do my best with them so long as I'm familiar with the character in question =). Thanks for the review!

Review:
I agree. I never liked what Lewis did to poor Susan from the first time I read the Narnia series. I didn't like it even though I was only about 8 and wasn't that thrilled with girls, especially sisters. Lol! I would actually enjoy seeing more of Slayer Queen Susan's adventures. She would be a teenager with many years of being a Queen and Warrior of the Light under her belt. If they ever met, Buffy would probably be ticked and jealous. Lol!
Comments from author:
I agree to a certain degree =). I think she'd be superficially jealous until she realised how much being torn away from a world and losing the three people closest to you in one fell blow sucks. You may have given me a fic idea though--if I ever get around to writing it, lol--thanks for the review!

Review:
The NCIS one was the best, but the Sailor Moon one made me laugh the most.

The only person from Sailor moon that would have been more unexpected would be Hotaru, since she is sickly... and possesed most of time.
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review! I was always more drawn to Usagi than any of the other characters--god only knows why =)--but maybe I'll try a Hotaru one down the line. She is a fascinating Senshi and you can't help but feel bad for her through most of the series!

Might I suggest a girl. Fiona Glenanne of Burn Notice. She is Fierce, but just imagine if she was hooked up with Xander, either as her watcher or more.
Comments from author:
Kind of delayed, but thanks for the review! As of chapter six, Fiona Glennane is a Slayer =).

Usagi as a slayer? That's scary :-)

What happens when she transforms into Sailor Moon?

"In the name of the Moon, I will slay you!" ??

:-)
Comments from author:
I'm more worried about her figuring out which end of the stake goes into the vampire ;-).
