Review of chapter "Chapter Thirteen" from Hawkehunt
Review:
“Clark – no one sacrificed themselves for him. If anything, he sacrificed himself for the rest of us. There was no charm on him.”
Well... they don't know this, of course, but it could be argued that his parents sacrificed themselves for him, as all their efforts were devoted to allowing Kal-El to escape Krypton, rather than trying to escape themselves.

A bit ambiguous about Clark surviving that curse, really; on one hand, Superman's always been portrayed as vulnerable to magic, but on the other hand it's possible that, since the curse was 'designed' for humans, it can't QUITE affect Clark's Kryptonian physiology because the curse triggers a certain reaction in the subject that Clark's Kryptonian body is incapable of duplicating (Kind of like how lizards are unable to sweat)...
Still, this is DEFINITELY going to make a dramatic turn of events, if nothing else; I look forward to seeing what comes next.

This one will teach me to carefully read the descriptions of a story before I start reading. I kept waiting for the Scoobies to rear their ugly heads.
That being said, so far pretty good. The only problem I have is that Cho has always been depicted as having oriental features. Of course her outer form could have been modified. magic has it's uses.
Looking forward to seeing where you are going with this.
Comments from author:
I always assumed that Lana was at least partially Asian, but that may be just because Kristin Kreuk is partially Asian. Now that you point it out, I guess Nell doesn't look Asian at all. Oops!
Not entirely certain about the idea of a prophecy mentioning other PLANETS- it might have worked better if the explanation was that he came from a ‘place’ known as Krypton-, and I’m still a bit uncertain how Cho acquired this kind of seemingly-prominent position in the order, but the central concept of the story seems interesting.
So… just out of curiosity, does the Death Eaters’ interest in Isabelle mean that Clark’s going to have to go after the Stones a bit sooner than he did originally?
