The demon told Voldemort that he was going to send a god next time. It couldn't be Glory, because Giles killed her weaker form. Illyria called herself a 'godking' on AtS, but she's on Wesley's side, even though he is dead. So, I guess I have to wait and see. I am curious about the assistant professor. She seems to be enthralling the males. Is she another teacher like Ms. French, the preying mantis teacher that Xander was crushing on as a teen?

Your thinking too small on where the god is coming from, remember, we're not constraining our bad guys on just the Buffy or Potter verses.
