Have some of the crew from Asgard show up for the barbecue. Especially the Warriors Three and Loki. He and Volstagg would make short work of what's left of the T-Rex.

I love to see you add to this, perhaps from the Sunnydale point of view. Part of that would be Giles FINALLY reaming the Necrophiliac and her (ugh) Toy when they start on how brave/noble/etc Xander was to sacrifice himself for them - the section where you gave a glimpse of Xander's thoughts/emotions at that point in time were quite moving to me. I'd really like to see SOMEBODY jerk their collective chains by pointing out exactly how little Xander actually thought he had worth living for.
Then again, I'd also like to see either Jenny still alive in the 'Dale, Angelus having not murdered her, OR Jenny showing up in Limbo and becoming more... friendly... to Our (OK, MY!) Favorite Scoobie, and them using Limbo and S'ym to actively help Faith in Boston, so as to prevent the torture and murder of her Watcher and the torture of Faith herself. Something that allows the two to escape Boston and make it to the Hellmouth, where they tell of the Twinkie eating Demon Master that saved them certain death. 'Course Faith can always add she was about to 'reward' their saviour properly when he and his sidekick vanished in a disc of light, causing some reactions from the listening Sunnydale Scoobies......
This is funny, I can't wait to see Xander slightly annoying Illiana. I almost hope nothing tries to attack her while she's in his dimension Xander doesn't like girls or women getting hurt. Also it may be interesting to see him and the X-men interact.

A suggestion could be to have Xander learn how to be a sorceror from Doctor Strange and Limbo manipulation from Sym. From Doctor Strange would be learning about personal magic and external magic (invoking himself, his soulsword, and section of Limbo) and in exchange working out how Doctor Strange can invoke him to summon things like food and drink or items. From Sym how to alter beings who give their consent like providing supernatural medical care/healing or to empower them.
With both he could open a kind of Fantasy Island (though far more benevolent and party-like) and merchant (fair exchanges among the realities, without any selling of souls). Those who choose to be employees could be empowered using those he knew as templates like a Buffy type as a warrior, a Giles type as researcher and librarian, etc. He could have special deals for invoking him with prices depending on what is being asked for. A "To Go" (as in "By Xander' Sword, a box of Twinkies to go!") spell could be essentially be free and act as simple summon for food and drink with just information on the circumstance the spell is being used under being exchanged as part of the spell and make most think Xander is harmless. A set of goods and services invocations could act like a magical ordering service where the summoner sets up a credit account and requests items or services generally off a pre-determined and updated list though negotiations are allowed (perhaps with a Willow-type who can babble and make determined faces to make sure agreements are in Xander's favor) though no weapons or offensive goods are allowed. Credit can be made by giving copies of information like books on magic or items of value (non-cursed). Then could be for those special types of summons that only are sustained Xander's desire and can be revoked that include actual weapons and special items and services. The last would be only for those Xander trusts and would be emergency use for those granted and are generally predetermined and suited for those summoners such as semi-automatic shotguns with magazines loaded with various armor piercing and anti-magic ammo and body armor and other items that might be expected from Batman or James Bond, mainly to head off those times when those like Doctor Strange has a sudden decrease of magic power for some reason. Depending on how Limbo works, it might even be possible to produce unusual substances like Uru, Vibranium, etc.

You should write that story. I'd read it and I grant you use of whatever I've written so far to pull it off.
