Review of chapter "Postscript/Appendix" from Omegaprime
Review:
Another cool and wicked add-on to the wild and crazy universe that you have created and set upon the world like a crazy ADAM.

It is really interesting how you used the 'Be not' rule on ADAM to kill him when that spell was sabotaged.

And now, thanks to mass interference in the space/time continuum, Trunk's time machine is now a two seater and one of Buffy's sisters is along for the ride.

Now on to part 4 with everyones favorite androids: #17 and #18 and also the genetic monstrosity known as Cell.

Also can't wait to see what the other future looks like with the Buffy and SG1 characters in it, if they survived that is.

Keep up the good work.

Great story overall.

Man... this is some epic. way awesome!.

First of all, thank you for this wonderful epic. you are among the rare fanfiction authors out there that have manage to do an epic crossover without losing/downgrade/change most of the elements that we love from the various genres. (An example to clarify; you have manage to combine edding-verse and DBZ-verse in a way that make sense and acceptable. As we know, a super saiyan can destroy planets with impunity. However, a super-saiyan still loses to a god..which is totally acceptable, cause, hey, a god. Most other authers at this point would rationalize it by downplaying the magnificent power of a super-saiyan (like this one naruto-dbz story where the author claim that the kyuubi still can kick a super-saiyan ass... wtf!!), which you didn't, so kudos to you.)

Having said that, i am irked at one point in your story. The existent of another player/players that manage to blindside the prophesies(from eddingverse). Wtf! They are the prophesies! Two opposing purposes in which everything else in bound. The universe itself cannot move forward until one of the purpose is chosen. What is your rationalization in having a 3rd party that moves outside of the prophesies. What do they gain? What can they gain? Is there even anything to gain? ... i hope you understand my misgiving ... and i hope i didn't misunderstand what i read in the series.

Oh, a question. it seems so far that events are focused towards the cell saga. i can even see a hint to the buu saga. What i want to ask is, is there any point in your story where the scoobies, and the z-fighters go to eddingverse for the events in belgariad/ mallorean? i mean... willow is already a disciple. it would be interesting to see at least her interacting with the other disciple(aside from belmovekk).

Once again, thank you for this epic story. You Are Awesome!!!
Comments from author:
Thanks for your kind words. It does take careful deliberation and planning to make sure things stay balanced.

As for your point of criticism. My rationalization is that as the two purposes have been locked in struggle, the rest of the universe is indeed not moving forward. In essence its locked in a form of stalemate. So with destiny itself pre/occupied the universe is basically left to fend for its own. A power vacuum. And in a power vacuum all sorts of interesting things can happen, which all to often leads to a new order. The purpose of the universe was split because of an cosmic accident. So random chance with the potential to create a butterfly effect to derail destiny can happen. And now its happening again as the two destinies, locked in their eternal struggle, have through neglect allowed a 3rd party to rise, which now seeks to overthrow them. That is their purpose, to derail the plans of the two necessities and substitute it with their own. To use an imperfect historical analogy, while the Hellenistic kingdoms after the death of Alexander the Great were fighting to become the dominant successor to Alexander´s former empire, the Roman republic rose to power, pitted one kingdom against the other until it was all to late and one after the other became conquered by Rome. Through constant bickering over lands in the east they failed to recognize that a new, more dangerous power, was rising in the west. I hope that answers your question.

As for Team Slayer and the Z-fighters going to be part of the events in the Eddingsverse, most likely not. After all, this takes place centuries before the events of the Belgariad, not long after the battle at Vo Mimbre and the start of the 5 centuries of peace. It which case it would be kinda hard to place it all in the timeframe of the Belgariad. To be honest, the only crossover with the Belgariad I probably ever plan to do is when Garion and the quest enter the Vale for the first time and Belgarath points to the ruined towers of his former brothers and says: "And that one used to belong to my brother Belmovekk, who has left us as well."

That does not mean that they won't visit that world though. All my previous parts took place in the three years before the coming of the androids, so a lot can happen in between stuff. ;)

Review:
I have just finished rereading the entire saga from the start n have enjoyed it immensely as i went.

it struck me re the Dragonballs and the people Belmo killed in the "Grr Anubis make Hulk mad.. where girl" rampage that a good number would have been vaporised.. thus no restoration by the DB's.

So enjoyed the Giant Willow Avatar laptop smacking Frilkins/Wieza into petfood.. no Smackdown like a Divine Smackdown.

I'm sure others have posed the theory that the mystery foe Belmo reveals to Xander is TAFKAP.. he misses the androids at CapCorp, misses the mayorfest and is not able to be found by scouter or chi sense. Maybe he is in the RoSat training his royal ass off? The vegetable is a logical suspect esp given Xanders reaction.. Xan knows the enemy, so its either someone from this story so far, i.e Vegeta/Angelus (super souped)/Ethan? or its an old Sayain foe.

Cannot wait to see the next story, may your muse/s be helpful, your hardware be functional and your path be clear.

Lol call me Cletus - i have been reading on my pda n after i posted this review - at about 2am local time due to lack of sleepiness, i realised that i had neglected to add on oh.. 140 pages in word format on pc. including the "whereabouts" of TAFKAP.. him not being in the RoSat the whole time doesnt mean he hasnt spent time there - sheesh guys ask kami, and can even add to the possibility.

My knowledge of the DB series is from partial viewing of the tv series.. so a bit spotty. Tricky Dicky utilising Frieza brings in the whole Friezas extended race/ancestry as possible Belmo nemeses as is Cell as he used Frieza dna.

and the nasty guys council... "they" are listening.. yeah.. and the Him.. dun dun dun!!! That shadow be fored.. theres a someone close to the scoobs.. Top 5: Spike - cmon its Spike, Riley - Maggie used him in canon.. maybe, Piccolo - unlikely but he was /is The Demon King and may be susecptible, TAFKAP even when he's on the good guys team hes suspected, this one may get me in Trouble.. Xander.. he did do business with W&H and theres always a cost there.

Sits n waits for next installment.. thinks up a Xander specific sneaky fatal chi attack.. his stilleto move.. a tiny chi ball formed in the opponents head then exploded.. evil/sneaky/ruthless.. i like!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, it makes me twirl my mustache in glee and inspires me to write more stuff. Hopefully in a few weeks you can expect some of the new stuff I've been writing. I would probably have posted some stuff already if I wasn't so much more inspired writing the next chapter rather then proofreading the previous one.

As for TAFKAP, as a matter of fact you're the first to pose this theory that he's the mystery foe. How very..... intriguing?! ;)

Have enjoyed the whole series, have to admit it took me a lil while to getinto the 1st story way back when i checked it out. But the story drew me in when i gave it a good read.

Really appreciate ur characterization of SXander - cmon he's sooo a psuedo saiyin in this, the Monkey influence adds to his innate stubbornness, ruthlessness and loyalty. Especially liking the contrast in his relationship to Belmo compared to Riley and his men. Xander comes across as Belmos trusted aide/ if not peer though definitely at a subordinate level. Riley /men show as loyal soldiers.

Xander is Duggan to Belmos Nick Fury, Riley n Men are Shield squad leaders/troops.

Looking forward to the next story.

buffyrazz

I think by the end of the 3rd story one could almost look at Piccolo and Xander as the ones Belmo trusts (from a tactical and strategic viewpoint). There are others he cares for more - Buffy, Joyce and the kids, and others more powerful -Goku, Vegeta, Faith. But he knows that Piccolo n the Xman will do what is necessary to keep things safe.

Gokus a big gun, vegetas a big gun, but sometimes a stilletto is better than a Howitzer.

Oh putting Faith with Piccolo.. bloody brilliant.
Comments from author:
Glad you liked it. To be honest I never set out to make Xander Belmo's lieutenant, I've always envisioned him more as Buffy's sergeant. But it makes sense, as he was the first to agree to Belmo's plans. Plus he got way more shit dumped on him then the others.

I have to agree with the first story though. It is probably the hardest to get into because, let's face it, it was the first story I wrote where I learned the trade as it were. Plus it's really three stories combined into one. One day I should really do a rewrite. Some day, probably after I've done a few more stories. ;)

Bravo. Another brilliant installment. I was surprised at Spike's listed power level though, that's like, what, Mayor/Freeza levels of power? Still, will be nice to see him kick some ass instead of getting shunted off to the side like most fics do. Not a lot of Spike fans on here (like me!) Also, something you may want to consider for future chapters: a Spike/Angel fusion? Would be just like Goku and Vegeta fusing, they don't get on but they have to, e.t.c. Perhaps to fight Buu alongside Mystic Gohan? Just ideas here, that would mean you'd have to boost Angel's power level considerably though.

Anyways, Cell Games, finally! I'm sensing Part 4 as the real convergence point for DBZ and BtVS here, both groups fighting the same enemy? I look forward to it! Once again, well written as ever, keep it up ;)

Good chapter
Just a question Why didn´t they use the Dragonballs to revive the people that Belmovek killed?
It wouldn´t revive all of them but some is better than nothing.
It would be interesting what the system lords (who claim to be gods), The Sons of Priya or even Those Who Watches (if anyone told them that there was a Slayer) would say about the miracle.
Comments from author:
The Dragonballs were used shortly after the events of Graduation to revive those who had died in the Battle for Sunnydale, so they are inactive. And when they do become active again they would most likely be kept in reserve in case the battle with the Androids goes bad. That's the logical answer.

The other answer is that Belmo didn't tell what he did and that Buffy didn't ask, subconsciously she knows she might not like the answer.

As for the miracle, everybody would claim it as their own of course, except the Goa'uld already have the best PR machine in place to do so.

There is still another way to undo the damage though, Kaio Sama could ask the Nameks to use their dragonballs. As was established in the Buu saga they really souped up Porunga after they left Earth for a new world.

Just a little thing, but Goa’uld keep there human and Jaffa slaves at much lower numbers per planet, than 3.4 billion! Maybe 3.4 million, but even that would be pushing it.

Please update again soon
Comments from author:
I was assuming that on their industrial worlds they had larger populations. After all, somebody has to make all their toys. 3.4 million seems ridiculously low for a planet like Chulak for instance, considering the large forces of Jaffa that every Goa'uld seems to have. The only country on Earth with such population and militarization levels, Israel, would collapse in weeks if such massive numbers of able bodied men were to be withdrawn from society in general. It's something I chalk up to SG1's writers not always doing their homework.

Very pleased here. Can't say I'm surprised to see Xander fuse with Buffy instead. There was a greater need there. Great story thus far. Keep it going.

King Kai, or Kaio-sama, sure is pissed at our resident senior citizen saiyan. I can't see that going anywhere good.

Is it any surprise? Belmo killed a lot of innocents to get what he wanted.
