No matter how many times I read this, it still make me cry. Somehow, I can believe the reason for House behaviour also come from missing his daughter and making the daughter Faith is kinda sweet. Good to know that no matter how tough Faith pretend to be, she still a Daddy's little girl. :)

I didn't know the song, so I'm sitting listening to it as I write the review and I'm getting goosebumps! Thank you for a lovely story, even if it is far shorter than I'd like it to be :p

Glad you liked it! The song is awesome, isn't it? And if you're interested, there's a prequel to this one called Tears. It's also a songfic, done to Jason Michael Carroll's song Tears.

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I was crying by the end. I love how you incorporated the song into the story without letting it take complete control, instead using the stanzas as the foundation for each bit, and building off of it to an amazing degree. I'm definitely going to have to bookmark this one.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! Balancing the lyrics and the rest of the story can definitely be a challenge, so I'm glad this worked out so well.

Loved the story, wish it was longer though. I really wanted to know what happened next. Loved it.

I'm glad you liked it. I'm considering a sequel, I just haven't figured out what I want to happen....I did do a prequel, though, called Tears. Sat down to try and figure out what comes next and ended up figuring out what came before, lol.
Thanks so much for the review!

Yesterday was the second time reading the story for me, and second time thoroughly enjoying it. Poignant and spot on (at least in my mind) of the characters. Driving to work today (Wed.) and flipping through the radio channels and what should be on? Hurry Home. Talk about a story capturing the essence and heart of a song and translating that into a medium that makes both even better.
Well done!

Thank you. :-) Have you read the prequel for this? It's called Tears and takes place when Faith is three. If you haven't read it yet, I hope you do and that you like it; if you have, I hope you liked it.

Oh my god, this was wonderful!! It really touched me! (I cried)(happy tears). House would make a great dad, and the characters were spot on. Just, wonderful.
