Review of chapter "The Dark at the Heart of the Pyramid" from Muadzin
Review:
I really liked this chapter and the research you did on the Gizeh pyramids. It reminded me of the time when I was in Egypt in the middle 90's. I even went inside the chamber you mentioned. I'm not sure if it still is but back then it was off limits to the public and a fence made sure nobody went there. When nobody was looking I climbed over the fence and descended in the long stairwell into the deep. I managed to find the light switch that illuminated the stairwell and was able to go all the way down. And there my courage deserted me, for the lower chamber was covered in absolute darkness. There was no lightswitch down there and I had no flashlight of my own. It was really, really creepy so I went back again and made it out again unnoticed. Your chapter really brought back that memory and that feeling again.

Thanks for the comment and I'm glad the chapter held some reality for a reader familiar with the site. I too was in Giza in the mid-90s but I barely had time to get off my camel before being herded back onto the coach. It was so fleeting I barely feel like I have been. What I was left with is this mad and potent desire to go back and see it in it's original glory. I guess that's why I ended up writing these characters into that amazing place.

Awesome. Good to have translator tech come into play, great use of wikipedia.

Odd you're not getting many reviews... Did delay reading this fic for several chapters because of the title and that could be affecting other people as well. You write a very consistent story, but the title gave my past self a false impression of goofiness without solid underpinnings. Can't specify what's needed, other than it probably would scan better without the tVS part.

Review:
Sonic pulses work in vacuum about as well as your average human 9mm handgun works on a Dalek. Sonic weapons are 100% useless in a vacuum. They're not weakened, they don't suffer reduced range or effect, they simply do not work at all.

Edited to add:

You need to either cut back on your dosage, or figure out what you want to say before hitting submit. Probably both.

A tenth of a millimeter of vacuum stops 100% of a sonic pulse. Doesn't matter what is floating around, the pulse won't reach it. Kinda like trying to shine your flashlight through concrete. It just doesn't go anywhere.

If you can't handle a little criticism without a major freakout, I'd suggest you quit posting your writing for public viewing, because you're going to give yourself a heart attack at this rate.

You're absolutely right. Thanks for focusing my attention on that doozy. I dropped the ball there, when I'm usually much more thorough than that. Made some minor alterations. If it still bothers you, you might want to move onto some other fic 'cos it's only gonna get crazier.

Review:
Very cool. I was annoyed at the Doctor for not warning Angel station about the Weeping Angels, but apparently he's already come back to the station from the future which works as well. Nice use of the Earth, always good to have a living planet defend itself. Xander can't catch a break, eh? Good to know the Doctor has a spare Tardis parked on a beach for a few millennia, he can always repark it later. Hmm... Rising ocean levels... Eroding sand... Is it underwater? :)

Review:
Another rollicking adventure! I had encountered this series years ago when I read your fantastic "Buffy Meets Star Trek" for the first time, but found myself uninterested in a Buffy and Blade crossover, and then again when I read your epic BTVS/TNG tale for a second time. But I couldn't get over the Transformers idea and how you'd manage that (beautifully, as it turned out. Xander as a dump truck sitting there hating himself for being it was just inspired!), but then I saw that you went on to Bond, and Doctor Who, and I couldn't resist any longer. This entire series has been just a glorious amount of fun!

I am continually impressed and jealous at how easily you continue to make all these varied and different fandoms so believably interact. All of the characters are treated with the high amount of consideration and care that I have come to expect from you. I'm beginning to think you can cross Buffy with anything! Though I'll know it for sure if you can do it with, oh I don't know, "Toy Story", or something equally as unheard of. Ha ha!

Still, this has been a surprising and wonderful series, and I'm looking forward to your next chapter eagerly.

You're, like, the ideal reviewer!
Thanks tho, seriously, it means a lot to get a review like this. It's fuel for a tired old engine running on empty!
If only more people made the effort.
Cheers!

Review:
OOHHH WOW!! Awesome. Xander is not going to be the man he was before is he. Is marriage in her future this time, will he even remember? Is Buffy going to survive or at the least be Roseified? Will Dawn be restored by this side trip through realities? No new chapters since May last year means it is about time for an update.

Although "from Outer Space" is a bit redundant, it is reminiscent of 50's Sci-Fi movie titles.
