This is an amazing setup. You've done a superior job keeping Eric in character (which is a really difficult thing to do) and the framework shows lots of possibilities.
I hope your muse leads you back here.
Incidentally, this story is labeled incorrectly. It came up under "non-crossover." If I hadn't accidentally set up my search parameters incorrectly, I wouldn't have found it.
I'll try. I've got the next chapter mostly written, but there's a part in the middle I just can't get to flow. I also don't have a lot of time to work on ANYTHING not an official part of work, so... I'll do what I can, when I can. It's not abandoned.

I would personally like to see Eric in a pairing... and strange as it sounds, my pick would be Willow. She would understand him and his dark side better than anyone, having gone through such simular things herself.
A girl can dream!!!
Comments from author:
You can dream, but I can't pair Eric with anyone--he's still not over Shelly. He'd probably feel like he was betraying her if he started dating anyone else. Still, the next chapter is almost ready.

Ouch. Reading Angel has to got to be utterly overwhelming. Two hundred plus years, and only the last hundred with the soul onboard to moderate things. I can't wait to find out what's next. I hope your muse and schedule will allow you to write and post more chapters sometime soon. Keep up the good work. Zafaran {mailto:} zafaran {at} fastmail {dot} fm

Yup. That's the idea. Well, I'm off to work on the next chapter for a bit... but I'm not sure when it'll be up. I'm not a terribly fast writer, for the most part.
The Dacascos interpretation of Eric had a lot more humanity than any of the movie versions. (and he has always been one of my favorite underrated actors) This looks like it could be great. The Scoobies may find themselves overwhelmed if a Snake shows up though...
Comments from author:
I hadn't been planning on a Snake, but now you've got the idea in my head...
Oh, well. We'll see.

This is going well. I loved The Crow TV series, and there isn't much written about it. Can't wait to read more. Plus, you've picked up my favorite characters -- Eric and Sarah.
Comments from author:
I like Eric and Sarah, too--so we're going to be seeing a lot of them. I warn you, though--aside from occasional bursts of inspiration, I'm a slow writer.
