Oh, sweet merciful writing gods, another fantastic entry. Sweet mothereffing jesus, Dean is a gorgeous vampire. And I think you capture Buffy perfectly, keeping her personality intact and letting her roll with the punches, although still very vampirey. Such a fascinating concept, you will continue, yes? Yes, please? PLEASE? :P

I really loved how Dean referred to Buffy as 'family' throughout. It was so personal and so Dean and you did a great job capturing that and translating that aspect of his character into his being a vampire.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Since all the vampires we've seen tend to hold onto aspects of their humanity I thought Dean's feeling towards family would survive the change. Of course his views on family have been warped by the demon so... :) Your review has stirred up a few bunnies so there's a very real chance of more soonish.

A fantastic piece, Ava! The idea of vamp!Buffy and vamp!Dean together... *shivers -- but in a very good way* I also love the way you've carried over Dean's beliefs about family to his new one. It's exactly how the vamp version of him would think.

I can't wait to see what happens next, especially as you said at the end of this chappie, Buffy "makes her way through the Scoobies"! *evil grin*

Thank you. It's been awhile since I've seen a vamp!Buffy story and I wanted to attempt my own hand at, but avoid the cliché of Angel(us) or Spike as her 'guide' or any of the Scoobies attempting to restore her soul. There's a reason I chose this particular part in the series for it to happen. ;)

I think the most fundamental characteristics carry over when a person is turned into a vampire and Dean has and always will place his family above all else. Though how he'd see Sam now is a curious thing and something that will be explored after Buffy deals with her family issues. Should be fun times. :) Thank you for taking the time to review!

Yikes. Buffy and Dean both try so hard to do the right thing. You take that moral center away from them, and . . . well, I wouldn't be surprised if Angelus had more on his hands than he expected.
