And it meshes both mythos perfectly!!!!
I could also see word eventually circulating through the Council's contacts that any assistance that anyone might have the opportunity to provide to 'Mike' would gain that person/being a great deal of good will with the core Scoobies - coin that anyone in their right mind would appreciate having.
After all, I can't see Faith not wanting to try to pay 'Mike' back in some way for the new lease on life he gave her, and since Faith is most definitely family as far as Xander, Buffy, Dawn, Willow and Giles are concerned, they'd be interested in thanking him for his intervention all those years back, too.
Anyway, great job, man.
