I've read this story a few times now and I keep finding more to love about it. I can't even ask for more since you wrapped up the plot and pathos of the story so neatly.
Give the author a great big cookie!
THanks!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, you added to it. Looking good. Not what I was thinking, but then again, you're not me. I likey, and would like to know how this story is going to head. ...........Do you have any idea where this is heading? Just wondering, 'cause it sounds like you're leaving yourself plenty of room to move.
What is this thought of not doing a good House?!?! This is perfect, I don't think that you will stop here eather as you said twice before that the story was over and suprise suprise it wasn't. This is a wonderful story and really should be continued.

humn.... oddly disappointing. I was kinda hoping Xander would knock House down a peg or two.
'Course, now it's totally set up for a sequel, where more snarking can commence. ::wrinkling nose in gleeful anticipation::
Since it ended so abruptly (and I haven't seen any episodes of House beyond mid-Third season -- long before the whole 'auditioning for new ducklings' story arch - and thus have no real concept who Kutner is/was) the title "Better To Have Lost" is a bit confusing. All I could think of was that one quote, "'Tis better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all." Was House (or Xander) in love with Kutner? ::sigh::
Despite my confusion, I enjoyed the story, and do hope that you write some more on the topic - I'm now just as curious as House as to why Xander cared so much to come all the way to the hospital to confront an old friend's boss.
Thanks for sharing!

Fantabulous! Love the sarcasm between these two; it would definitely be funny to see which one of them would win the crown of King Of Snark, because both Xander and House tend to give as good as they get. So glad you continued with this!

awww, I want more House/Xander snark! the danger level of being in the same room as those two at the same time while they get their snark on is probably pretty damn high.
