Review of chapter "Precious" from Anonymous Reviewer
Review:
well, that was different. Why am I not surprised that Tom would want the One Ring? (Well, other than the fact that almost everyone does want it, eventually....)

Smeagol as a house-elf.... different. Interesting and different.
Comments from author:
He didn't *want* it; in his world it's just a ring. That's why he sent it back to Middle-Earth to wreak havoc.

This was a very interesting piece on the 'what-ifs' of the Ring. I don't usually read short drabbles, but I quite liked this story. And you have to love the little Smeagol bits. *g*

Cheers,

Arina

Interesting - so why did Tom (assuming this is Riddle, not Bombadil) send it through the veil rather than to somewhere where he could easily retrieve it for himself?
Comments from author:
The Ring controls *a* world. It's not Riddle's world. He's just spreading evil and chaos.

A very amusing take on where the ring could have been... oh, Tom's a naughty boy...
