Actually, the unpronounceable lines between "If I were a rich man" and the line above are from Hasidic niggunim, chants/singing done to prepare the mind for prayer. Which makes sense, considering Tevya wants to be rich primarily so he can spend more time praying. Unfortunately, generally the only ones who know those chants are religious Jews, so when someone who isn't plays Tevya, those lines often do turn into babble-y nonsense. Even the origional writer of the musical could not figure out how to write the niggunim out the way they are supposed to be said.

I think you doing a wonderful job at Cheshire speak. It makes sense in a nonsensical way. It's perfect! Fluent Cheshire I should think. I like how you have Lady Useless too. She sounds better this way than in canon.

I wanna see what happens if and/or when Cheshire meets up with Dru that would be something to see. It would great! Put them both together and the rest and you got chaos and it's lovely. And Dru would definitely have her Dark Kitten. *giggles*

I wonder what Xander would have after the spells broken. Probably still be barmy as hell. Throwing about riddles and odd pieces of commentary. It would be awesome if he kept the tail or ears or even lament the loss of them. Or the grin! I could so picture the grin coming out once in a while. But PLEASE update this. This has become one of my favorites. laters!

I plan on continuing this fic at least to the end of the canon season. You'll get to see how Spike, Dru, the Scoobies, Angel AND Angelus try to deal with the new and improved Xander. The inspiration for this fic was actually that I just really, really wanted to write about Xander driving Angelus nuts. The story is Scooby heavy right now, but later Xan'll be spending more time with our favorite Aurelians.

As for the lasting effects of Halloween... you'll just have to wait and see.

This is totally WICKED! I love it! I love THE Cat. Always my most cherished childhood character. Though my mom thought and still thinks I'm on crack for that. LOL I really like this. Xander suits the Cheshire so much! So cute and enigmatic and confusing to those who can't comprehend the joy of the Cheshire Cat. I loves it.

Oh, I just love this! Crazy Cheshire Xander for the win! The dialogue is wonderful and fun, and I just love Cheshire-Xander's comments/questions/answers/madness. Hahaha.

Cannot wait to read more Spike and Xander interaction. Will Dru be meeting Cheshire-Xander before the spell breaks? I also cannot wait how Xander will be changed after the spell breaks too and his interactions with everyone.

Well I love the idea, I love wonderland cross overs when they are done well like this. I love 'crazy' Xander stories. I can really appreciate the effort went into all the personalities involved, not something i think I could do 'in character', specially dealing with so many crazy insane trains of thought at once.

That being said I dislike the main pairing and I really hope it doesn't take to much of a focus in this story. Never huge fan of Xander Slash, added to that it's a vampire.. a thing Xander hates and it makes even less sense. Especially at this point in canon where Spike done nothing 'prove himself' a good guy. Added to that EVERY other pairing is normal canon relationships I can't really understand shoving Xander and spike together, it's unnatural as Naruto and Sasuke or Harry and Draco. It just seems slash pairings have to be made up of two guys who hate each other, rather die then spend a minute with the other.. and I never understood that.

I've kinda been struggling with the pairing too. I have the feeling that it's going to be a little more of a Xander/Dru with Spike being the guardian of the crazies, or even just a Spike/Xander/Dru family/friendship thing. Either way it won't have overt sexual situations, so you can ignore bits that you don't like.

As for Xander hating vamps and Spike still being a bad guy- Xander is going to be fundamentally changed by Halloween. The Cheshire Cat wasn't good or evil, he helped Alice at points and got her in trouble at other times. He's going to be slightly removed from the Scoobies, and will be interacting with the vamps (including annoying the crap out of Angelus.) Basically, I'm moving him into a grey area where Xander won't be evil, but evil won't bother him. Also, he's going to keep a little of the crazy.

OMG you have to write more of this story, i want to know what happens next. Please, please, please continue.
