I checked with a friend who is an authority on this stuff, and she says that he doesn't know at this point. It really doesn't matter much anyway.

We don't necessarily know that - that's true of Thor's hammer, but maybe metahuman strength qualifies for the troll version. Or maybe they're joking, of course.

The thought of Cage with the troll hammer is somewhat frightening...

If it was Jordy that got used to get Nina preggo, then it's possibly another element of the splintered Initiative that got this whole thing going.

Points for making Jordy the dad. Hard to see who's behind all this.. surely werewolves are not that uncommon in the Marvel/Slayer-verse, someone just needed a werewolf 'cub'?; maybe it's not about Angel at all? As is, 'they' now have Heroes for Hire, the new DRI etc after them. And they just killed their captured operative; they must be playing for some pretty high stakes to justify all the heat they're bringing down on themselves.
Some kind of new DRI effort to create demon-soldiers again?
Angel might still be around; same for Spike, Illyria at least. And the slayer-council could get involved too...

I'm a bit stalled on this one, and also trying to complete a writing project which actually pays money and has to take some priority. I haven't forgotten it, but I think I may need a major rewrite. Until I've finished other things I can't give it the attention it deserves.

Actually this was originally going to be part of chapter 5, I decided to split it fairly late because I wasn't sure how to handle the big revelation. I hope I'll post more before Christmas, but don't hold your breath waiting.

Completely unexpected.

It's interesting - everyone thinks of him as a baby but he's about 6 or 7 in BtVS S2 (his adult teeth are starting to come in), fourteen or fifteen by the period of this story.

Is this Oz's baby cousin we're talking about?

I'm tracking this story, can't wait for Luke Cage to start pummeling Supernatural stuff, he doesn't get to do that much before joining the Avengers. Oh and will Jessica be going at it too? Oooohhh is this more of a crime/mystery thing or will there be more action soon? I just can't wait.

Well, I've so far had two fights in six chapters, which for me is a fairly violent story. And sooner or later the reasons for what is happening will come to light, and things will REALLY hit the fan.
