I know it's been over a year, but I really hope you haven't given up on this story. It's so well written, and it really does deserve to be finished. Please, oh please, update soon!

I added this review because I think it is time to add a chapter to this story. I think others would love to see where it goes post Kobol.

It's on my to-do list, but I can't make any definite statement about when the next chapter will be posted. (If I can just get the next chapter sorted to my satisfaction, there are a couple chapters beyond it already written.)

This is the sixth time I've read this story, and it just gets better and better every time I read it. I hope you update soon because it's worth finishing.

There should be updates coming soon. I think I've finally sorted out the reason I was stuck, so once I rewatch a couple season 2 episodes to refresh my memory, there should be progress on this again. (I WILL finish this one- I know how it ends, it's just a question of getting there!)

I've just discovered it and read all of it over the course of 2 days. I've only seen the first season of BSG but I'm loving this story. I love how spunky Dawn is. That line you wrote about socks too...perfect. I was thinking that we she was in the hiking store saying she wanted to try and pack an extra pair of shoes! I was like, "No! Go for more socks!" so I was happy to see you added that. It seemed like you have done some backpacking or at least researched it. :)

Anyways, I hope you eventually pick the story back up because I would love to read how Dawn influences everything.

Thanks! I've actually not done much backpacking, but as someone who has had to schlep around in wet socks before, some things are blindingly obvious once you've learned them the hard way. I plan to pick this back up again soon, but I seem to be on a streak with a couple other things right now, so they've got priority. (Also, I need to rewatch season two before I continue- make sure I have the events of the Pegasus section of the timeline clear in my head before I write them.)

I know I've already reviewed this story. I just wonder if in the course of the voyage will some young child look up at one of the adults and say those age old words, "Are we there yet?"

From what I've read so far you should continue this story at least until you've reached the end you want for it.

I think your story is wonderful. I think that you have a nice storyline going here. I also would like to say that it would be nice to see Dawn make it to Earth with the Fleet and Kara Thrace not fall into the maelstrom on the way to Earth. Also by Daybreak it would also be nice for them not to find primitive Earth, but now Earth.

This story is amazingly well written, you have the voices of your characters down pat, the emotional reactions are compelling and drive the plot, and it just hangs together beautifully.

I just found this and read it all in one go, it is amazing! You have done an excellent job of blending Dawn into BSG, I can totally see her as Kara's sister. I'm so excited to see what happens next.

Great to see snother chapter. Always love it when Dawn is underestimated and others are surprised.

If/when they find out that Dawn has known about Earth the entire time, they are all going to completely freak out.

Dawn certainly has made use of what she learned in SunnyD.

So excited to see an update on this story. I was actually just thinking of it the other day. Unfortunately at the this point Dawn still doesn't seem to have had any impact on the events of Galactica so I assume they must be coming since that's the whole point of her being there though, right?
Anyway, lovely update and I look forward to more.

Thank you! I'm a bit mortified it went so long between chapters- I hadn't realized just how long until I looked at the stats. Dawn hasn't had much time to have much of an impact yet, since she's only just arrived in the Fleet. But now that she can interact with the people in the Fleet, changes will be coming.

I am so glad to see that you've finally decided to update this story. As someone who was a big fan of both shows I'm inspired to see what you've written.

I liked Dawn both as a Summers and as a tHRACE. aND i'M glad to see she's more take charge than she was in Season 6. This is a story with epic potential and I really hope that there is less time spent between chapters this time.

Thanks! Chapters should be coming more regularly now- next chapter probably won't be ready this week, but definitely won't be as long in the writing as last chapter was.

Gotta hand it to grundy! The author came through with an update to this story and it is appreciated!! So, Dawn's with the fleet now and I hope to read of her further adventures!
