Bittersweet but nice, and definitely in character for both shows. I thought maybe it would be Dawn's turn to step into the light at the end, but it would have been too cliched.

Interesting idea - though I guessed wrongly that the punchline would be that Dawn had reaped Buffy's soul while they were talking, a few seconds before she is killed by some bizarre accident.
