It's about time Tim [and Faith too] got the GOOD they deserved in a relationship.

Very good fic, and a surprisingly good paring.

Although if I remember correctly Tim has has some truely gorgeous girlfriends in the past that we see glimpses of or pictures when Tony goes snooping in his Ipod. So he must certainly have something to offer in the boyfriend department. Who knows Faith may be the one in for a pleasant surprise later that night. Which would mean extra embarrassment for Tim as we all know Faith wouldn't be able to keep from bragging about something like that.

The gorgeous girl turned out to be his sister though, so he lost alll bragging rights on that one. But you're right - there will definitely be a little bit of bragging ;)

At least you know McGee would never cheat on her or treat her badly, though he may forget her birthday. I'd love a short story on his after thoughts for that night.

Can't see Faith being too concerned with birthdays, so he's probably in luck. Also, Faith might be the one to inflict a little of the 'bad' on sweet innocent Tim. You'll be able to read the consequences of riding in cars with Slayers soon enough. *grin*

I've heard you say elsewhere that you felt this McGee voice was too much akin to Xander's. Really, if I had to make a comparison with a BtVS char, it would be Willow's. And I feel it is uniquely McGee's. He has a bit of Xander's early haplessness, a bit of Willow's wry geekiness, and a whole lot of his own unique nature.

The "red light behavior" made me chuckle, too.

Well, if nearly sinking your fangs into someone's neck isn't red light behaviour, then I don't know what is. It's somewhere between red and black (black=murder).

Your story was terrific! Very nice job on both Faith's and McGee's characters. And you put in many laughs. I especially liked: Women, he corrects himself as a long-gone but still indignant voice echoes in his head. Sorry, Kate. Lol! Nice to see somebody still remembers Kate. I just hope McGee survives Hurricane Faith. Not to mention, fully intact and functional. Lol!

I'm shamelessly pro-Ziva, but I think Kate had a hand in making McGee who he was. And it's kinda fun to think of Faith.. um.. breaking him in a little. *evil grin*
