Uncle Etahn? Ohh boy......I don't know who I pity more. Xander or Angelus if Ethan and Xander will go against him *********
your comment is evil................now I want to read much more *g*
Comments from author:
Pity Angelus, he's the one who killed Giles; Mentor of Xander and baby brother of Ethan. I think Xander and Ethan will grow to like each other. Ethan stepping into Giles' shoes will actually be worse the big bads, Giles was almost always muzzled trying not to be the 'Ripper' of his youth. Ethan is happy with who he is. Ethan will be ruthless in dealing with the big bads, and Xander has similar attitudes concerning the children of the night. Yes, Pity Angelus, But pity the other big bads more. The team of; Ethan, Xander, and (That will be a surprise), will not hold back on their prosecution of the night. Angelus has woken the sleeping dragon.
Peace

I like the story so far, but I don't follow the other fandom crossed with this so I'm missing some of the nuances. Will you at some point be explaining exactly what the rod is, what it is supposed to do, and how it has affected Xander? Also, will you be giving us a brief biography of the character Xander dressed as; I'm sure I'm not the only one with no clue as to who it is.

Review of chapter "New Alignments" from eriktheviking
Review:
A well written transition chapter but I would have liked to have seen Snyder actually punished, rather than threatened with the Sunnydale PD.
Comments from author:
The troll will be punished, I needed to explain why Xander was going to accept 'Uncle Ethan' before the police arrived, rather than rat him out to the cops. The troll will be severely punished, believe me.
Thank You for you reveiw

Well you mentioned Kirby... so it is that Marvel immortal caveman character... I never read any of the issues, but my BF has mentioned him a few times.
Comments from author:
Xander went Halloween as Blaastar the living bomburst, Blaastar is a Neanderthal looking brute that can blast things with his hands. He is strong enough to go toe to toe with the Thing (Marvel: Fantastic Four), he is a conquerer from the Negative Zone. The Cosmic Rod belonged to his Negative Zone rival and sometime ally Annihilus, it will have effect in the story. Thank You for reading & reviewing my story

Review of chapter "New Alignments" from BrinLondofive
Review:
Had to re-read part one twice to get it. First though (neanderthallic-looking) was the Hulk, then my second was one of DC's alternate universe Superman characters, then I remembered... Xander went as Fantastic Four (and Silver Surfer) foe Blastaar the Human Bomb Blast, and the item Angelus and Xander both talked about was the Cosmic Control rod...

Huh, Blastaar the Living Bomb..something. It's on the tip of my tongue. Shell? Burst? During one of the incarnations when he had the Cosmic Control Rod, too. An original idea that suffered from the vast amount of AU events you had to summarize early on, most of which weren't really relevant to what we were witnessing anyway. The biggest example would be the throwaway mention that Spike's rebuilding the Judge. We never see either of them, so there's no point in saying it. Anyway, you're quite right that I've never seen him in any crossovers here.

Not bad but then again I find it hard believe Xander just stood around doing basically nothing useful with all that power or Buffy-verse villains could really stand up to Marvel level of power. I mean come on Angelus capturing Xander alive, killing people at whim? It's like saying Hercule from DBZ really beat Cell or that Superman be taken down by a paper cut.
Idea is fairly sound but it could of used a lot more set up, and more attention to cause and effect. You can't just super power Xander and then say nothing really happened for the better.
