Love this so much (and not just because I absolutely refuse to believe that Lucian died at the end of the first movie -- in my head canon, he really should have been in the 2nd and 4th films, as well as the much-superior 1st and 3rd movies!).

I like the use of Fred - she seems to be too easily ignored or neglected by fic-writers. I also like the use of Lucian instead of the more popular Micheal and Selene.

It also leaves me wondering if there will be a sequel.

I love anything that lets Fred show her mettle. Girl has spunk that didn’t get utilized nearly enough in the series. She does know quite a bit about revenge – good that she got some credit for all she’s been through. It was really interesting to see her on her own at Wolfrum and Hart, to see her finding her management style and getting settled in. This makes me want to know more about all the little side projects Fred must have discovered in her newly acquired department. Great read – engaging and leaves me wanting more! ~Vesica

Thanks! I thought she was entirely too glossed over in season 5, left out to dry in a morass of pseudoscience and irrational interactions. Bleh.

Lucien is also intriguing. In the movie, he was little more than a maniac driven by revenge, but you've returned his humanity to him in this story.
