Dawn's ability to sense internal injuries makes complete sense as far as something evolved under emotional stress goes. She probably was so focused on never letting anything like Joyce's death happen again that her body adapted to prevent it.

Wow. Found this story on Monday June 13 2011. What a great read. Hope you had as much fun with the characters as I did reading them. Doing very well combining both fictions especially as one is written and the other from TV. Well done! Hope that there is more to come.
