This has to be the most unusual combination of fandoms ever: Kafka and Xena? It's great! And I think that ol' Franz, if you had managed to make him understand the concepts of fantasy TV shows, fictional warrior princesses and fanfiction, would have appreciated your story! ;-)

There was a very weird thread on the forums that led to me writing it - I can't even begin to explain it, you had to be there. Really not sure how Kafka would have reacted, he would have probably preferred a better author, but never mind...

Loved the conquering hordes bit, especially, although the chakram riccochet (dropping the giant boot sign onto the giant cockroach) brought back many fond memories of "Been There, Done That" from X:WP season 3!

Ah, so Buffy went as pre-reformed Xena, aka Xena the Warlord. And as there is no Hercules in her universe (and obviously Angel was unable to fill that role), no redemption seeking. Poor Xander-roach. Squished in the prime of life.

I would have like it a little bit longer say how she daffeted various enamies throughout the serise.. but still short sweet and a little wrong but fun none the less.

You made me laugh out loud, but now I feel very guilty about it. Poor Xander. Not even a footnote. Too bad Willow didn't dress as Gabrielle. Maybe she could have "calmed down" Xena the Conqueror. Lol!
