Planned to start reading the series in next few days as it's been on my list, but then noticed no updates since May2011...

Not abandoned, but not currently active (which I suppose is fairly clear). I'm a little stuck on editing and posting this one. I'm very pleased and flattered to know it's on your list, but you might want to bump it down a little. I will finish it eventually, but not in the next few days.
Hopefully it will still be on your list by the time I get it finished. Thank for the review, it's good to be reminded that I still have this sitting here, waiting, every so often.

While I am usually NEVER a fan of the baby-storyline as a rule, I am definitely going to say I like the general direction you're headed in. I loved that Hermione was the first one to find out about Buffy's preggo eggo. Still on the fence about everyone's reaction, and I am sorta hoping the tension with Draco and Buffy escalates or resolves itself soon as they're pretty stagnate right now. Also, totally didn't know they'd broken up, I thought they were just fighting...severely? lol. I'm eager to see how Dumbledore will react to Buffy's initiative with the horcrux ring as he's been a bit wishy washy in regards to her involvement. Can't wait for more, and I hope you'll spoil us with an update fairly soon.

Too bad she can't talk to Giles, and find out she's not the first slayer ever to have a child. Not sure how old Nikki Woods was before she died... Boy, Draco isn't going to be happy to have been not-told, but that's what he gets for not-talking to her. B. has a point about the short life span meaning she can't afford to wait for some things. As long as it's "one girl...." that won't change.

sorry but i don't understand something. In Growing Older you wrote this Harry's brow furrowed at this, "Actually…" he said, finally seeing, "She stopped spending time with us, skipping meals, and I don't know how she slept" he looked up and explained, "She slept outside, because her nightmares would have gone through the house." Dumbledore peered at them, "You didn't notice did you?" he asked, "Until now you didn't even notice that she had stopped spending all her time with you, becoming a solitary creature again.
And now you write that they did know. Consider me confused.
and pregnant good one. I still consider Buffy to soft with Harry, he must understand that you need to talk when somebody did something wrong, Not giving them the silent treatment. that is so immature and selfish. I know they are young but still. oh and I like the talk with Hermione opening her eyes that a slayer dies young.
Well I'm done now. Keep updating I still love it. you are in a high on the ladder two reviews in one day

Don't be sorry, you're not wrong. I debated over that in editing and admittedly made the wrong choice to leave it in. I thought it could work on the - admittedly weak - basis that it was Hermione not Harry. Next time I'll trust my instincts. Thanks for pointing that out, I've edited it so no one else will be unduly confused.
Thanks for reviewing (and so quickly) I was nervous about how it would go over and am glad to know that you'll keep reading.

I totally agree with pensivegal, it's not fair how Buffy is being treated by the trio and Dumbledore. I wish that in short time she gives them "hell" tell them how she feels. when they did wrong Buffy forgives. Oh and I hope that Buffy will be not so easy as the last time, because forget and forgive don't work all the time and the trio and Dumbledore needs to understand that you can't have always their way. when sombody makes a mistake you talk about it and try to solve it, you don't ignore somebody that doesn't solve anything.
just curious does she already have some money of her own, because I still think that it's strange that she doesn't have a money of her own. If she doesn't then it gives away how selfish Harry and also Dumbledore are. They had enough time to geet it done during summervacation.
I can't wait for your next update, you know, you can be proud of yourself if you get these reactions on your writing. It means you write pretty good.
Comments from author:
No hell from Buffy (sorry) but they do get a bit of a talking to in the now up update.
She does have a little money of her own, Harry dealt with that over the summer. Unfortunately that detail was in my notes, but never seemed to fit in the story.
Thanks for the reaction and the review... both of which are what keep me posting.

Am I the only one that thinks the trio (and Dumbledore for that matter) are being a tad hypocritical here? I fully agree about Buffy being in the wrong, but come on already, what the trio did to her was way worse and she didn't give them a tenth of the grief they're giving her.
The fact that Dumble's basically said Buffy isn't necessary in the war kind of ticked me off because I figure everyone on their side is pretty damn important considering the odds stacked against them, lol. The person that has an honest to god right to be upset is Draco because Buffy has been shutting him out for awhile now.
Either way I love the tension, though it feels a bit to reminiscent of season 7 with the gang kicking Buffy out of the house because of 1 bad judgment call, which is probably why my hackles are raised in her defense. Honestly can't wait to see what other drama chapter 9 will bring. Come back soon, please!
Comments from author:
The hypocrisy is addressed in the update (now up! with extra drama). Dumbledore didn't mean she isn't necessary in the war, but that she isn't the keystone to it. Thanks for the review, I'm glad you are enjoying the tension, as I've ended up with the feeling it isn't very popular with most people.

well, she got through a chapter without screwing up more, that's a plus. And she's still close to Harry (physically) so she can help if something happens...
Comments from author:
She's not quite done screwing up but things are starting to get better with Harry :) Thanks for the review.
