I saw that Buffy was an O'Neil there briefly, perhaps Willow is a clone made by Loki (from Stargate) but it didn't mix well with her magic and had memory side effects:)
EDIT: Ahh, I should have realised. Still good fun :)

I do hate to shoot down people's theories, but, as another story (also unfinished, to my shame) in this series shows, the Citadel Council run this galaxy, not the Goa'uld.

You do realize you're never getting your deserved ten out of ten if you let this one sitting here, do you? Also the O'Neill name drop is just evil.
Thanks for writing.
Comments from author:
Perhaps. Truly, honestly, I wasn't even thinking about Stargate when I chose that as Joyce's maiden name for this universe. The name was a tribute to a friend, with no subversive hint intended. Because of that tribute, I will not be changing it for any reason.

Poor Willow! Cognitive dissonance or what? Buffy with an actual degree, Dawn a lecturer, a suddenly acquired wife and teenager. What next? BTW, just who is Amber Benson playing on "Firefly"? Enjoying this story but I do wish you'd update more often but I think that about ALL the authors I track :)
Comments from author:
I have some general ideas about how this happened. Basically, in this universe, I have organized (and, some of this will be in the story, but more as side-detail) that Joss, obviously, did not write "Buffy" or "Angel". As a result, he came up with "Firefly", which ran seven seasons, 1996-2003, and it had a spin off which lasted from 1999-2004. He then had another series which took "Firefly"s place as the half-season then canceled, which then had its own film.
Amber Benson, in my mind, played a starring character in later seasons of Firefly and the spin-off.

Review of chapter "Chapter Eleven" from DaveTurner
Review:
I'm with 'Twoboots' on this. I had to think real hard when the update notice came through.
Anyway, interesting chapter hope to see more soon.

weird that they're not finding the cause. One weird thought--they're holding off on telling anybody until they have to...what if the same thing has happened to Xander & Buffy?

This one started out a bit ragged but as it's developed it's become a pretty solid story. Her thoughts about why and how this happened sound like the sort of thinking that a real person would do in those circumstances.

Oh, I was so hoping you'd update. I'm enjoying this story which has got a really neat (and karmically ironic) premise. There aren't that many pro-Kennedy stories around which is a shame and also a bit unfair. After all, if Season 4 had been the last season ever of BtVS, Tara would never have gotten the chance to be popular with fans as she would only have had 12 episodes (Kennedy got 13 episodes). I look forward to your next update!
Cheers, Rebecca

So nice to see a story with Kennedy shown in a positive light.
Found this story early this morning and read it more or less in one go (had to stop every now and again to fit some work in!). Really enjoyed it so far and hope you update real soon.
Keep up the good work,
DaveT.

Good--a Willow strongly suspecting it's all fake/a kidnapping would be a real loose cannon. Too powerful to stop. Poor Kennedy, that's going to be one awkward dinner.
