Wow. Buffy the Goa'uld is getting less kinder and gentler by the chapter. Ugh. Just.... ugh. With diplomacy like this, who needs villains?

There is a method to my madness. Here's hoping that you'll stick with the story to find out the ins and outs of what's taken place so far in the story. But, I respect your opinion.

This story certainly started out interesting enough, but Buffy's actions and characterization have really started to chafe. 12 chapters of adoring description of how awesome and beloved she is, while she pretty much bullies SG-1. They come seeking help against the Ori, and she proceeds to act like a kinder, gentler Goa'uld, ignoring them and imprisoning them for days and coming up with tests and tasks and mindgames, and taking them to task for their human flaws. They are chided for arrogance and not being truthful, but in her arrogance and impatience, they were not given the time or chance to give her the full details of anything. She shows off how much care and attention and time she gives her people, but they get a few minutes of her time before she leaves or dismisses them, making herself the single biggest cause of the lack of communication, and dragging this out for days, never asking them any details of their situation, or if hostile reinforcements might show up on her world looking for them if they don't check in every few hours, accidentally starting a war with her world, etc.

And this is coming from a Buffy fan, not so much an SG-1 fan. So, yeah, that ongoing theme has been kind of frustrating so far, so I thought I'd say something.
Aside from that, it's been an interesting storyline so far, and I like and follow your other works, so thanks for writing. :)

Promise that everything isn't as it seems, and a more positive outlook is coming.

I'm glad that you're enjoying the story. Won't tell you who/what the child of light is, but it will come to light *smile* as the story unfolds. There will definitely be more B/T in the next update.
