The Joyce bashing makes a lot of sense for this story. That is it is needed to advance the plot, but it seems like you are bashing the scoobies just for the fun of it and you have a personal vendetta against them.

Buffy an anomaly. I'm thinking that Buffy is needed and losing her Slayer abilities would make her a target after slaying for so long and killing three master vampires etc.. So keeping her powers doesn't seems strange to me and another point, Diane probably doesn't know that Buffy became stronger after her death. The only one who probably knows is Angel because he was the one who asked how she feels and she told him that she feels good and stronger. I can't remember Buffy telling Giles or the other about that. She even became stronger after her second dead. So Buffy is needed by the PTB.

I can't wait when Buffy gets her memory back. I'm glad she is finally leaving Sunnydale. I only hope she gets her memory back real soon because I don't like her being helpless.

Yay! Buffy's getting away from the buttheads! & I love that Giles was quite unimpressed with how they acted...same with Diana. Maybe we can have a short chapter after Buffy & Giles are in Florida where we see Xander & Willow get shot down from helping Faith in ANY way. Ha! Especially with Oz there to help out with the research--I'm guessing Diana will be more versed in technology than Giles, so it's not like she'll need a ton of extra help. Oh yeah, & Faith can shoot Xander down (harshly) any day now. :D Great update! I can't wait to see Buffy in Miami & see her rebuild her relationship with her dad. Kinda hope that when/if she gets her memory back that she tells no one in Sunnydale except Oz & Faith...the rest can suck it. Just sayin'. :)

So, I know it's been a year since you updated, but is there any way you're going to continue this? I really love the premise and I'd love to see how Buffy mixes in with the rest of the CSI Miami crew.

I am; in fact I'm attempting to work out the next chapter now. Just have to decide how ugly the goodbye should get between Buffy/Giles and the Scoobies.
