I was kind of wary of the whole sci-fi aspect, but you pulled it off very well. The twist with the planet being aware and sentient was great! And Sam and Dean: being actual brothers, having to deal with their pasts - shared and separate, their abilities and personalities, it was an exciting look at how jarringly different and eerily similar they could be. The way you used and incorporated Sam's telepathy - awesome! And certainly not least, the intimate moments between the two were... let's leave it at 'wow'. It's less embarrassing. Marvelous work, can't to see what y'all come up with next!

We were wary of the sci-fi aspect too, very worried when we embarked on the story. It seemed to have written itself though, so we were happy with it. Wonderful to hear you enjoyed it ::grins::
This comes a bit late. I was sad that the story ended but better that than never be finished. I've read so many stories that are too long and even more stories that are never going to be finished. After reading couple unfinished stories I'm mad...
I really liked the scifi side of this story and strongly urge you to write more scifi stories. At first I tried to place you story in other scifi worlds like Babylon5. Quickly I noticed that you had created your own world and that's ok. Creating your own world gives you more freedom and in this case it was even logical and interesting.
Waiting for more!

No such thing as late ::grins::
Wonderful to hear you enjoyed this. I agree, nothing is more maddening than unfinished stories. You won't find that here, guaranteed. I always have a draft of the whole thing before I start posting *nods*
We probably drew a little from all those sci fi worlds/shows and are relieved the world building worked. I think we showed just enough to let the reader fill the rest in and make it better, lol
Thanks a bunch!

Fantastic! I love the ending, even though I hate to see it be over. And I would love more AUs, especially sci-fi ones. They are too rare. Thanks again for a lovely story.

Thank you for your lovely review ::grins::
We're working on a Spike/Sam fic next, but after that, I think we'll try another Sci Fi.

This story is one of my new favorite AUs! I love the whole idea of it, and you are writing the boys so well. And also? It is hotter than hot! Thanks so much, and I will wait for more holding my breath! (that means you can't take very long, you know, or else I could pass out)

Thanks a bunch, very pleased you like the story - I co-write this with Charlotte. We only have one long chapter more to go, and we'll get it up soon, promise.
*Hugs*

"They'd make it through this, then figure out their own issues." Ha, as if they'd get so lucky. These issues are more likely to kick them in the butt right in the middle of a dangerous situation, you just wait and see, Cpt. Dean Winchester... This was an amazing chapter. Heartbreaking and steamy hot, exciting and angsty all at once. Am very much looking forward to the next one!

Lol, luck does not seem to be shining down on them, huh? Poor Capt. Winchester.
Glad you liked it. We'll probably be able to get the next one up by the end of the weekend. *Hugs*

Hopefull they'll get the chance to sit down and really talk things through one day. Neat how Dean's been using Sam's B'day all these years without remembering why he chose those numbers.

Hope floats eternal That bday thing worked out well, glad you liked it.

He, now we might juts have some murderous alien plants on our hands to make things even more interesting - those dead scientists didn't wear anything red by any chance, did they *g*
The dynamic between Sam and Dean in this story is amazingly in character - the way they both push and push until their nearly irrevocably broken and then they might, just might be able to take a step in the right direction. It's heartbreaking to witness but of course also really great :)

Red like red shirts of Star Trek? Heeee!
Yeah the plot starts to thicken ::grins::
Glad you're finding the boys in character despite the AU setting, we always try to strive toward that. This one is definitely an emotional rollercoaster type story. Next bit is up!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
