Great update. Now that all the people involved have been introduced (mostly), the good side can get their plan of attack in order, so they aren't too many more casualties.

What i do hope to do with this story (Something I have never done before) is do parts that have very little to do with the First/Source storyline something like they did on Buffy/Charmed. The next part his the first of these.

Great update. The poor First, it thought it had an advantage the first time it went against the Slayers, and now it decides to pick a fight with The Charmed Ones too. Boy, this one isn't going to be even close.

Though...the First wasn't all that tough. It could make mean comments to you until you cried... that was about it. Would have been cool if it could have been corporeal ie imagine getting attacked by the Master then Adam then Glory..... hey. That could be a neat thing to have happen later on in this 'fic...

That is true to some extent but then it was (in the series) also invulnerable to anything anyone could do! Who is to say it does not become corporeal in this story - Even with what Leo has told them?

I am really enjoying how Dawn is taking to her new powers. I just hope all of the Scoobies survive her learning experiences. Lol! This continues to be a great story and I look forward to more.

Have to be thinking the Gilmore Girls won't be quite as immediately accepting of all this.....it's too bad that the Summers & Halliwells haven't seen that series. Ah, the fun they could have. "And to conclude, you'll be getting your own Whitelighter-- Kirk!" or ..darn what is his name? The officious guy who is always making life miserable for everyone on his rules-insistence etc, who runs the town meetings? Have to admit, the GGs would have a fun time tweaking the Elders .

You are right. Although I have one more part involving the Gilmores to post soon, it will be a few parts before I get to that. Kirk as a whitelighter! I do not think the gods would inflict that on anyone, unless Taylor (The person you could not remember) was a power in disguise and had something to do with it! GGs might have fun, at least a little, but please remember that this story is not meant to be a comedy.

LOL 'Firestorm' What a riot! I'm with Buffy in wondering if there's something more to Dawn wearing Xander's shirt. Is she back in her crush phase? I know she's too young - at least for a couple years - for him, but that doesn't mean *she* can't be harboring some thoughts. I hope somebody explains to them the reason Joyce didn't appear to them was because of the 'First imitating dead people' thing, and not anything personal.

I am not sure yet! I wrote that part as sort of Dawn's security blanket, but maybe? I would not say she was to young - If she was ten in season one then by the time of this story she would be eighteen - Xander is about five years older so not insurmountable, at least from Dawn's point of view. I am leaving Joyce's explanation to her - Around part ten.

Great update. In Dawn's defense, she was always being babysat by either Willow or Xander, and when Andrew got there, he was always hanging around Xander, so it's actually Buffy's fault that she picked up those habits.

All this makes me wonder if Illyria knows about all this stuff (Source / First Evil etc).. hm, so could Buffy, Dawn, the Gilmore girls form a charmed circle of their own?

Must say that never occurred to me! But you need to remember that this story would start at the beginning of the last season of Angel so Illyria would not be available yet. As I told someone else, there is not going to be a charmed circle other than the one on the show.

Awesome part. I was a little iffy about this story until this chapter but I am thrilled now that I stuck with it. I should have known better than to doubt you. Cannot wait to see where you are going with this and what other surprises you plan to throw our way.

Hm...presumably she needs to explain that whole "Buffy won't choose you..." speech ghost-Joyce made to Dawn? I always liked to think that was Jasmine (with the First appearing to Connor as Darla). But that's just me. Hm, the whole Phoebe/Cole thing will sound real familiar to Buffy & company (Buffy/Angel).... and let's not forget that empath who looks just like the mayor, heh. (Charmed episode) Are you going to tie the whole "Key" thing into this somehow?

I forgot about the empath episode with the actor who played the mayor! And yes the Key thing does play a part in this story - Just not what I think people will guess in advance! Fingers crossed lol.
