Somehow the combination of Dalton and Andrew's geekishness is utterly appropriate. After I (finally!!) stopped laughing it occurred to me that it would be interesting to see what the rest of season six would be like with the trio trying to be 'SuperHeroes' rather than 'SuperVillains'. If you don't want to write it yourself, how about putting it out as a challenge? There are some awesome possibilities inherent in the idea.

There have already been at least 2 stories in which the Trio try to be Superheroes rather than Supervillains, with some prodding from Xander; one of them is on this site somewhere, although I can't remember its name, and the other one is 'The Hunt for the Chraka Rathklo' by Airawyn. http://airawyn.livejournal.com/94842.html

Actually I liked Moore.
Don't know which would be worse; the Trio as Supervillians or Superheroes. Mind-you it might have made the end of season six so different...oh the ramifications!

I was horrified at the possibilities, and now I'm just amused. Dark Helmet... I need to stop giggling. Really.
I notice that the Silver Age Atom was named after a SF writer who was short; I wonder if the Golden Age Atom was named after Fletcher Pratt, the Sword & Sorcery writer & wargamer, who was also very short.
I've no intention of writing a follow-up; feel free to think of Jonathan being The Atom next year.
