This is really splendid, fascinatingly original and very well written – very well done indeed.

About the “goddess”: the fact that she eats a “mound of scrambled eggs” etc. for breakfast suggests Buffy to me. We shall see.

Very pleasing to read and follow. As a concept, I commend you for the confusion over which female Scooby consecrated their marriage - Dawn, as the embodiment of the Key, is the obvious one, but Willow is essentially the Avatar of the Earth/Gaia, and both Buffy and Faith wield deitic-level power as the Slayers they are. Cordelia, of course is out - she's just a queen :).
