Great update! Funny enough, between the last chapter and this one I have now scene "Midsomer Murders." My mom is into them and I have been watching them with her. Poor Barnaby...I think this one might just do him in. lol

Nice handling of the Revelation. Its always difficult to balance between saying enough to get the idea across and repeating too much that the reader already knows.

Enjoyed the chapter...I could definitely feel Buffy, Spike and Dawn's anxiety as they were waiting. And awesome reactions from the local police...they were spot on. Looking forward to more. :)
Now, this is interesting. I'd seen the title, but hadn't looked until I saw "Midsomer". Not because I'm familiar with "Midsomer Murders" which I've seen referenced in story summaries before but with the spelling Midsummer, but because I've a friend who lived in Midsomer Norton. I like this version of Buffy and Spike get together (some I've seen are a bit ick), and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. (I honestly had no idea that there really was a place called 'Midsomer'. I only knew it from the books and the TV-series. I'm ashamed now... :s)

As often as Spike gets himself INTO trouble, he has become quite good at getting out of it. Figures that he would just throw the mess into Giles' lap! HAHAHA!
