One of the best xander as a winchester concepts ive read. im looking forward to how everything changes with xander in the mix. are you going to follow the seasons exactly or gonna jump through some a bit? im also looking forward to the clash of scoobies/wincesters. keep up the good work. really like what ur doing with the story. ^_^

I was about to ask if/how you were going to incorporate BtVS beyond the character, but for some reason I decided to read the reviews first and lo and behold you already answered the question.

So I'll stick with saying it's a great start and I hope to see more.

Interesting. So Alex is more like Dean than Sam? After Sam left he what? Split and did his own hunting for the whole time Sam was gone? Will they ever find out ALex is the result of a wish?

I'm never sure whether or not to answer people when they ask me questions in reviews. I for one love to speculate, but would murder anyone who told me what was actually going to happen. So, here's fair warning, I'm going to spoil for you...

Alex/Xander is set up to be the middle between Dean and Sam, right now there's a lot of abandonment issues between the twins, but they'll get over it. I'm still feeling out the characters as I've never written Dean or Sam before and Alex is different from Xander. Sometimes he'll side with Dean, sometimes with Sam. I've got this all planned out through season 4 and the whole demons vs angels split between Sam and Dean will be emphasized by their fights over who Alex sides with. Right now, he seems like he's more like Dean, because I haven't fleshed out all their relationship problems yet.

Sam left thinking that Dean and Xander were both siding with John, before even giving Xander a chance to support him. I can't see any incarnation of Xander choosing to abandon the fight, but he doesn't appreciate John's overbearing attitude any more than Sam does, so he left to hunt alone in a show of solidarity with Sam. He chose the life of a hunter, but still didn't choose John. Which is a big difference from how Dean reacted. Later, I'll make a point to divide him from Dean on the all supernatural stuff is evil point, where he'll side with Sam. Basically, they're all individuals, but since they're Winchesters, they've all formed this 'with me or against me' mindset.

They won't find out about the wish until season 3 which will largely be AU. Before that I have planned plenty of tie-ins where Alex has flashes of memory or a sense of Deja-vu about something he experienced as Xander as well as hints that maybe Azazel, Missouri and some of the things they hunt know he's Xander.

landed on my usbstick and I read it. So I think I at least try a few more chapters to see if
I start do like SN stories more :)

Younger. I really wanted to give Sam a chance at the over protective older brother thing Dean does so well.

So what, Xander won't remember being a Harris or the Scoobies or anything and will think he's a Winchester? Why not just make the wish have them seperated after the firs somehow so Xander's life is still the same? Not a bad start.

For now he doesn't remember but when time loops around again canon will come back into play and he'll have to decide whether to be Alex or Xander. I've got this roughly outlined through 4th season. He's got a mixed destiny now being both the One Who Sees and one of Az's psychic kids. Xander was not erased from anyones memory but his own, the Scoobs are going to be looking for him.

great beginning i can't wait for more.. i didn't think the use of canon was overdone.. you are right it's very much a huge thing with the show.. .. i really can't wait to see how you play this out..
