I really love this story. It's one of my absolute favorites and you really put a lot of time and thought into making the Buffy as Mary timeline very believable. It's a shame it's been almost a year and a half (only 1 month short of that) since you updated despite writing many other short stories in the interim. Do you plan on updating anytime soon or have you decided to abandon? If so, you may consider putting it up for adoption...

I stumbled onto this by accident and I'm amazed at how wonderful it is. At first, I thought the whole premise wasn't going to work, but you have made it work and work well. Please tell me you're going to return to this. This definitely needs a second act!

Thank you! ♥ I am planning on updating this story, but I've had a lot of computer trouble this year, and essentially lost all of my files and notes for Heal the Scars. It's been a frustrating and exhausting project, trying to recreate my timelines and plots, but I have been working on the next update. So, rest assured that this story is not abandoned! I'm just trying to make sure that the quality of the story remains the same, and that I'm still leaving the right loose threads behind to be picked up in the sequels.

I read it through for a third time! I finished reading and realized I owed you another review.

- How will Dawn ever get over her mistrust of fathers and John in particular based on John's misconceptions of both witches and werewolves?

- Do you plan to add how Joyce ended up with photos of Buffy and her family but never told her about them after she lost her memories?

- I LOVE how Buffy didn't fall back into self destructive traits with Spike! Don't get me wrong, I adore Spike!

- I LOVE that the San Francisco school is named for Anya!

- I can't wait to see the Winter celebrations and the Scooby gang's reaction to Buffy's husband and TWO grown sons!

- I LOVE your story! Please update soon and GOOD LUCK solving your computer problems!

I'd forgotten how much I love this story! I stumbled across it yesterday and have been reading nonstop since. I'm really bad at reviewing, so I'm sorry there's not one for every chapter like you deserve! This story has always been one of my favorites, and I love re-reading it!
