Review of chapter "Of betrayals, meanies and scythes" from JasonBarnett
Review:
you comment about Buffy dying for her sister who used to be mystical energy actually weakens the anti-Scooby sentiment here. After all, if she shouldn't have sacrificed herself then resurrecting her is a good thing. An unnecessary death undone.
In fact I would say that shows that Scoobies view her as an indisposable soldier if noithing else.
Also, I don't really recall any hints that a Slayer couldn't have children. If it was surprising it was because Slayer's pre-Buffy were supposed to be more like Kendra. No life outside of slaying. That means no boyfriends and definately no sex.
Edit: I suppose that makes me a bad person then, because I wouldn't have accepted that either. Buffy's post resurrection behavior in season 6 was the only time I disliked the character. I felt the way her life was falling apart at the end of season 5 combined with depression at being alive and having a chance to get things back together in season 6 turned her heroic sacrifice into suicide with the bonus of her sister surviving.
Comments from author:
I see your points but they did treat her like a disposable soldier. Her death was supposed to be her gift. Rather than respect that they resurrecetd her to make her fight again. It was this that has caused her immortality. She may have found happiness but it has not been because of the scoobies.

Review:
“Your precious resurrected bitch was used to carry my child. I’m a slayer and as such can’t have them.”
Yeah, about that, remember Principal Wood? Son of Nikki Wood, the Slayer Spike killed in New York in the 1970's to get his trademark duster jacket? The idea that Slayers cannot have children is what's called "fanon", its not actually canon. Most Slayers simply don't live long enough to have children.
Comments from author:
Yeah i remember Wood but I always assumed he was conceived when she was a potential. The hint in the programme was that it wasn't possible.
