I'm not entirely sure how I cam to reading this story, nor do I know the fandom. However your story is, with a little imagination, easy enough to follow so far.
Yummie treats! I must admit that Mongo/Mungo immediately summons ideas of Blazing Saddles to my mind. I do like this story, even without being aware of the cross. Thanks for writing.

Wow! This is very good. I have never heard of the author George Chesbro or his books but you can be sure I will be looking them up, they sound like something that I would enjoy reading. Thanks

Always good to hear from Mongo the Magnificent again. Did anybody else hear that with the notice Peter Dinklage is getting from Game of Thrones, Hollywood is kicking around the idea of a Mongo movie.
Comments from author:
Again? Dinklage optioned it years ago.

Drat, another obscure author that I have to find now. It's too bad this story stopped where it did - was definitely looking like fun. But after all I found it because I was hunting all your other stories because of how much I am enjoying the ones you are doing now, so I guess it's a tradeoff. :)
Wendigo sounds about right. There should be a bunch more human captives around somewhere, but I guess they can't see them from the hill. Good thing Buffy and Faith know Chant is coming - wouldn't want them to get off on the wrong foot!

Is this the worst trouble Mongo has ever been in? I've gotta say...definitely top ten, maybe top five. To crack the top three you'd have to shoot him in both legs & set the building on fire. This is not to say anything negative about your story, but more about the way George Chesbro used to pile it on. I mean really, you haven't threatened to nuke a city, have a serial killer about to ascend to the presidency, or release a retro-virus that would revert the human race back down evolutionary ladder yet. (all real Mongo plotlines READ THE SERIES!!) The story is a blast and I can't wait to Chant vs. the Wendigo.
Comments from author:
Most people just can not imagine the world of hell that Mongo and crew have been a part of. I just hope I can keep doing George's characters justice.
(Writing in Mongo speech is stupidly fun. I love his point of view and turns of phrase)

I am not very familiar with Mungo and his pack... so I cannot really comment much but I enjoyed the story so far and will be waiting for future additions to it.
..... See what I mean?... cant even spell name right :D

Good story. Its well written and moves forward at a reasonable pace. I've never heard of the cross over series but who cares you done a fine job introducing the characters.
Comments from author:
Thanks! Chesbro's stuff is an acquired taste, but I like it.
