Great story. Curious to see what changes you make to 'The Courier', but would like to see this finished as well. *puppydog eyes, pathetic puppydog eyes*

Evil author\muse = one who doesn't finish stories they start.
And this is a terrific story, so please stop being one of the evilest of authors\muses.

Review:
Very intriguing -- and I liked the ROSE Council name, better than the usual Ursagga or ICWS choices. Please resume!

I don't believe it is necessary for me to express my pleasure in this story as I am sure you have been overwhelmed by praise for your work (and well deserved). You seem to indicate that you have an idea for continuing the story beyond its present length. I would urge you most strongly to continue as rapidly as you can, I don't think my finger nails will last if you don't. Thank you for an excellent read and a rather thought provoking story.

Review of chapter "Belief and Disbelief" from LeaFairy
Review:
Well, I just finally got caught up on reading all the latest chapters I missed... Yay for me. lol. And I'm loving where this fic is going with Dawn and Gibbs. Their interactions are wonderfully written and I love how mature and calm Dawn is. I also love that Gibbs is starting to believe that vampires/supernatural are real... I totally can't wait for him to meet his first vampire or supernatural baddie. *grins*

Also the whole Rose Council thing and Buffy as a 'Lady' in England is just so cool and awesome too! *grins* And definitely very interesting about Dawn's green light-show from earlier. I wonder how much control and power she has over her keyness?

Anywho, I enjoyed everything I read and I look forward to reading more in the future! Thanks so much for writing!!

Comments from author:
It's not quite finished yet... I had to take a bit of time off from writing due to having company in town. Expect more probably next week or after Christmas.

Review:
Interesting. Now I want to know WHO that person is that Dawn's calling.
Comments from author:
Hadn't decided yet, but my first thought would be either Willow or Xander. Willow because - using magic - she's able to carry out that threat on her own and rather quickly (teleporting much?) and Xander because, if you've got an army of Slayers, you need some sort of command structure/support staff/communications hub, and Xander's the one I'd want in charge of that. (He's pragmatic and gets along with just about everybody.)

Course, it could also be Buffy, Giles, Faith, or any number of other people. Not Principal Wood, since we found out he's dead, but....

I'll make sure you find out in the next chapter.

Small world yeah? I loved it.
Comments from author:
A little. Vance's background is pretty much an unknown, so no reason not to do it...

Review:
I think this is one of the best Buffy crossovers with NCIS I've read. Of course it reads more like an episode of NCIS than BtVS. You've done a nice job with everyones' characters. I feel sorry for the doctor's father. Maybe one of the Rose Council's Slayers can tell him what really happened to his daughter. I look forward to the rest of your story.
Comments from author:
Thank you. And maybe. I think Gibbs & Co. will be coming up with a sanitized explanation for him and the files fairly soon.

Review:
wow what a great Idea putting Vance as Woods family. it makes it easier to get the cover in place.
Comments from author:
I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'cover' (the Council's blurring the truth a bit, but not outright hiding it). Could you explain?

As for the Vance-Woods connection... both characters have/had backgrounds that were not very well fleshed out (in Vance's case, intentionally so; there was a episode where Gibbs saw his personnel file and it was heavily censored), and there's the ethnic connection and other physcial similarities, so no reason to say they couldn't be related. And a distant relative like what I wrote in probably wouldn't have been mentioned on either show unless physically present.
