We are working on Entangled Fangs, got it all plotted out. It's Werewolf!Sam!Black and Vampire!Dean!Cullen ::grins:: It may be a while before we are ready to post, but yup... we're working on it.

Also posted a Christmas fic with Dean as a Vamp. If you're interested, it is at my LJ, and is completed. It's title is "Dark Miracle." Also have another story being posted there as it violates TOS over here.

Heh heh, that's exactly it, they have had very different experiences, but that makes for interesting tension and all that. I have faith in Sam!

Dean is 8 years older, so he is 26. He selected Sam when Sam was 10 and Dean was 18.

Just out of curiosity, are you planning any actual Supernatural fics or just more original fic with characters who happened to be named 'Dean' and 'Sam'?

Just out of curiosity, how much of a "high" do you get from leaving sarcastic comments to fic? You're famous or infamous for them, but I'm sure you know that. A better way to leave a negative comment is to say things sans sarcasm... ya know? I honestly don't mind criticism, I invite it because you can (and I have) learn from it, but the tude... that I can do without.

As for the characters not sounding like Sam and Dean, yeah... the more AU you get with a story, the harder it is to make them sound like the t.v. characters. As a writer you hope that you brought enough of their core characteristics to give readers looking for Sam and Dean some satisfaction, but you may not always be successful, or you may not be successful as to all readers.

This particular story is the "most AU" setting I've written, and I would agree with you that the boys sound less like themselves than in my other AUs. Perhaps take a look at my sci fi fic, Forced Entry. I do think that they really sound like Sam and Dean there despite the AU setting. Of course you don't have to agree, and I'm not lobbying for you to go read more of my AU, but you asked if I was planning any SPN fics with the real Sam and Dean.

I also have SPN non-AU fics. Now if the boys don't sound like themselves to you there, then quite obviously none of my SPN fics are for you. A writer's voice might attract/be enjoyed by one reader, and hated by another. That's just a fact of life, a good one in my opinion, because then you get a variety of styles and stories to choose from.
