It's been almost a year. I would love to read more. Could you at least try to write another chapter on this one. I would like to see this story having a last chapter and a proper finish.
I also want to see Travers gets his ass kicked when Jack finds out that he gave the order to Giles to do the test on Buffy.
So please update.

Well Sam and Jack are really Ostrich they saw and still don't believe. How far can you put your head in the sand so you won't see what is really happening. Glad to see Teal'c doesn't do that and support her. Daniel already did it.
Still hoping that see will stay with her real parents but I don't think that is gone happen. I would like her to fight the Gou'lds. A well like this story. Can't wait when Jack really discover how strong Buffy really is.
edit: Well I'm a normal parent who has a normal household. They are fighting aliens and take a walk on other planets. So I agree, you don't want your child fighting off supernaturals but you can't deny that something excist when you see it with your own eyes. and the question do you still believe in those things. Yeah makes my skin crawl because you saw it so believe it. Now the Slayer part. that is scary if your child has to fight those monsters every night. Gosh for a parent that would a nightmare, knowing they live short. Sorry couldn't resist.
Comments from author:
If this happened to your kid, would you believe it right off the bat, without any kind of denial? I wouldn't, even if my daughter fought a vampire right in front of me. It would take an explanation and some time to get used to the idea. I'm trying to keep this story as realistic as possible.
I'm glad that you're enjoying it.

I hope you find the time to update this story sooner than later. I hope they will take Buffy back for good. She can leave the Hellmouth now because another Slayer is called, her age gives her the right to choose where she wanna live. She could fight Goau'lds now if she wants and lets face it vampires lives everywhere. Her duty on the Hellmouth is done. It's the next Slayer who's destiny is to guard the Hellmouth.
So will Buffy become the Slayer of "the Galaxy" who will fight evil to protect "the universe". she could be trained by Teal'c, Bra'tac r and the military so more fighting style to learn to protect herself.
Can't wait what she is gone tell Jack and Sam, they didn't believe her the first time. And Kinsley he can get her on the Hellmouth to why won't he know where she is, he has everything to find out about her and take her. She has more chance to survive in Colorado than in Sunnydale where she could die every night. Please don't wait to long.

Thank you for reviewing.
I haven't forgotten about this story, and there will be an update eventually. I can't promise it will go in the direction you are hoping for, but I hope you'll continue to enjoy it.

as always the huge hole in the sending her to the Asylum stupidity is what if Buffy proceeds to pick up her mother with one hand and dangle her.
"This is how strong a vampire is."
Alwasys shake my head at how dumb all this is. All she has to do is show that she is five times stronger than any other human and suddenly what is not possible seems possible. I can never understand why this is not so obvious.

Glad you've returned to this story (and I'm especially glad that Sam and Jack have turned out to be the supportive parents -- with a lot of help from Daniel and Teal'c -- that we always wanted Buffy to have!).

They know about the slaying and still accept her. Good. I like the whole time travel thing as the reason she wasn't found as a potential earlier & all that. Things are going to get weird once it goes a few years farther along-- Initiative as branch of NID, maybe? Teal'c training her could help quite a bit.
Comments from author:
Teal'c has a lot to teach her. There's more to a fight then the moves that are made. The Initiative might come into the picture later. I'm not sure how far I'm going with this
