It is so Buffy to be still helping people, even if not in her usual capacity. Not looking for reward or recognition, or even justice, but maybe closure. Lovely.

I don't know why I never reviewed this. Apologies.
Short and sweet, and not a little heart-wrenching. Suffice to say you hit the nail on the head when matching the tone of the book and capturing Len's dry yet compassionate nature. And a wholly plausible situation that Buffy and Susie might have met during her short stint in heaven, which leaves me wondering if - following Sebold's version of Heaven - what Buffy's might have been like.
Enough ramble. I enjoyed this very much, in a bittersweet kind of way.

Thanks. Somewhat informed by a disappearance and later revelation of murder of a cousin. Similarities were enough that I don't read Lovely Bones any more.
