Great story. I was a bit worried when Gunn was burning through their plans A,B,C,D... one after another but a few words from Eve and Angel was pointed in the right direction :) It would not doubt go better for both Lindsey and Eve if they move to Boston and I don't think Angel's "big finish" with the circle of the black thorn would be significantly altered by Lindsey's absence. Hopefully with Buffy in the know through he might be inspired to choose to do something else?

Darn. I really would have liked to have listened to that conversation between Lindsey and Nate.
This has such a nice balance between realities, and the information sharing is informative, not boring - its hard to get fresh when you seen a bunch of crossovers - great job. I might be dreading the actual interaction with the BtVS/AtS crews, but I will relax and have faith.

Okay - I really should have paid attention to the word count. I'm used to seeing shorter stuff and was way more surprised than I should have been at the length and complexity of this chapter.
On the other hand, surprise is a good thing right? Keeps the blood pumping.
Parker and Dru is fun, Nate was perfect, El and Lindsey - delicious.

I was thoroughly engrossed by this, and would love to read a sequel, if you feel so inspired:
DOES Eliot ever make a serious or half-serious play for Buffy?
WILL Lindsey become the Leverage team's new grifter/facilitator (an idea which I much prefer to seeing any more of Tara -- SO not an adequate substitute for Sophie, and sets my teeth on edge even more than Eve did when she seemed to take Lilah's place)?
DID Spike and Buffy manage to make up, after all, and DID Angel have sense enough to take Lindsey's warning to heart?
HOW did the rest of AtS season 5 play out, with Lindsey's participation revealed so quickly and Buffy reintroduced into the mix (or at least made aware of the fact that Spike was undead again, as she should've been the first time around)?
Just saying . . . in case you were so inclined or inspired!

Perhaps I'll sign up for the crossbigbang again this year, and write the sequel then?
Some of it depends on Developments in the rest of Leverage Season 2, but I've got some Ideas in a notefile. Regardless, the sequel will be team-centric, and include at least two of the abovementioned Buffyverse folk. =)
Glad you enjoyed this! I had fun with it.

Fabulous work here, reading this story was like watching an episode of Leverage with the Angel crew as guest stars. Thank you kindly for sharing this, I greatly enjoyed it!

That was really cool. Did you write it for the Leverage big bang?
So Lindsey is out of the contract because it will cause Angel less trouble in the long term with the senior partners...am I understanding that correctly?
Does Eliot have the hots for Buffy or was I misreading that last little bit?
Happy Holiday!
Comments from author:
Well... they maneuvered Angel in to *thinking* that, anyway. Whether that's truly so...
I actually wrote this for the crossover big bang. Eliot does indeed have the hots for Buffy, and if I get a chance to write a sequel next year, I'll certainly do so. =)

And just the idea of Angel and Spike both spitting up blood (probably literally) at the thought of Buffy hooking up with Elliot makes me smile with delight. ;-)

Great story! And can I just say now that I'm begging for the sequel where Eliot finds Buffy and hooks up with her? Pretty please with whatever bribes your Muse wants!!!
