Review of chapter "And Some Time Shall March On." from Harry
Review:
When Dru takes a fancy to someone, that is saying something. The seer/vampire may be slightly off kilter, but when she finds someone, be it a doctor, a detective, or even a Slayer, she does her part to make them feel special. And while she is nervous about the Bat, as long as she does not do anything to but the spotlight on her, she is safe.

Dru has made a promise to herself NOT to incur the wrath of the Batman! She knows how deadly he can be. Best to be careful and avoid him at all costs!

And now we have the true beginning to this old favorite of mine. Part one is just the teaser in my own humble opinion. Well, thanks for writing this, and bye for now.

Review of chapter "Sharper than a Serpent's Kiss." from Zarohk
Review:
This is an amazing (and surprisingly coherent) explanation of vampirism and the "vampire" demon by Drusilla. I think this is my favorite description of how vampirism works (even more than the little we get in canon).

You did a great job of explaining this and giving a good read to explain it.

Well, I read part one and then this. The entire series looked very interesting, but part one was too short to really get a grip on this series, so I didn't review it It was ok though. But this part was awesome, so thanks for writing this, bye for now.

Review of chapter "On the Town in Satin and Lace. Part the First." from Kaleidofox
Review:
I actually really enjoy this so far. I mean, I am on chapter 19, so that is why I say "so far", but I anticipate to enjoy the rest as much as I have of the former chapters.

I do have a slight issue with the story. Nothing major or anything, just something that I'd like to have cleared up is all. I understand Dru is on her own right now, but in the series, I suppose due to her psychic abilities (not really sure on how...I'm just assuming that is how she does it), she always seems to have an idea of what is going on in the supernatural world. This conflicts with how you have her telling Emma that she is the new slayer and that the former must have fallen. I mean, Dru knew there were two, and since she always seems to know all sorts of stuff, I am assuming she would know about the huge slayer activation spell. Are you simply making her not know this, Gotham is some sort of supernatural information null, or something else? I don't mean to nitpick, it is just that I have always adored how Drusilla always seems to know everything but only be able to explain in some sort of seemingly insane way, and to have her not know about such a huge event in the supernatural community just seemed a bit out of character of her to me. I mean, it may make perfect sense as to why she doesn't know, but as of now I am a bit confused. I just want to know what stance you are taking on why she doesn't know such big things. It isn't very important to the overall plot, I am simply a bit obsessive compulsive and need to know for my own curiousity's sake.

But I really am fond of the story. I usually don't like how Drusilla fanfiction is written, but I think you have done an amazing job writing her character. I especially like how thought out and logical the whole beast and her madness bit is. I liked how you explained just why she was behaving so neutral and actually helping a slayer. It really makes sense; even in the series she never actually went out of her way to kill and maim people, she was just happy doing her own thing. Sorry to rant a bit there.....
Comments from author:
Good points all. At this point her mind is wrestling with restraining her beast, so she's more distracted then normal and is having trouble focusing. The thing is, this story is told from her point of view and so anything she says or perceives could be considered suspect.

Interesting. An unusual depiction of Drusilla but you manage to cary it through the entire store.

Looking forward to future stories in this series.

Review:
Hm, cook & butler. Anyone we know? Clem, maybe? That would be amusing. He was last shown fleeing SunnyD, assuring the Slayer that he no longer ate kittens..."And I'm doing that because it's wrong, not because you'd kill me!" as he assured her....
I like painting by Angelus--he was a very good artist, they didn't use that as much as they might have. And what a great conversation piece ....especially if Spike figures in one of Emma's dreams (of the 70s slayer getting killed by him or the Chinese slayer)... hm, or of Dru killing Kendra...
Things are going too well for them all. Something should go wrong soon.
Comments from author:
On the nose! And things never go well in Gotham otherwise there would have been no Batman...

Poor Emma, the girl doesn't know what to expect anymore does she? :)

So the Dark Knight will be making an appearance, can we get a small spoiler and learn when the Scooby Gang will be making an appearance.
Comments from author:
Dru was always good at keeping people off-balance. And the Bat has made cameos in a lot of the chapters. It is HIS city after all.

It's going to be a while till a Scooby appears I'm afraid, but have no fear, at least one will arrive.
