Always a funny concept and flaw found in many sources from Naruto to Harry Potter. One could also claim it infects the Buffy-verse as well though in the case of Angel, Spike, Dru, Dr. Walsh etc. For one reason or another people responsible for a lot of pain and death given a break time and time again because 'they have a soul' 'they are harmlessly chipped' 'oh she's human'.
So while the concept is funny I don't entirely feel like Buffy cast is the best one to be pointing fingers, specially as the later seasons got on.
