Such a beautiful and sad story, I feel so bad that Buffy was so happy on Serenity and her "friends" pulled her back. I really hope that a sequel may come from this where Buffy finds a way back to Kaylee. Buffy/Kaylee is one of my favorite pairings and there is a short supply of fics for them. Thank you for a great story!!

wow. that was a devastating end. I kind of wish you'd take it AU, and somehow, Buffy would either find a way to bring Kaylee and Serenity to her, or to go back.... of course that would really bug her friends... but this isn't Joss's story... hope you choose to do something else with this idea.
