I have to admit to feeling sympathy for poor Glory, but that's typical for me; I'm always rooting for the hot/evil girls. Speaking of which, loved the minor plot with Lana secretly being a mutate (in the immortal words of Oz: 'That explains a LOT!') Again, feeling some sympathy for the poor girl, possibly to the point of needing to do a ficlet where she manages to survive the encounter.
Interesting use of Lex; utterly believable all the way through.
Overall a nice read, though it was noticeably less polished than some of your other work as far as editing and word choice. Not that this is bad, by any means, but stuff like 'Legend' and the Superman novel are so beautifully written than anything less is a little jarring in comparison.
Thanks for sharing this with us.

I just wanted to say it wasn't what I expected from a BtVS/Superboy crossover. It was quite an excellent read, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Excellent work.

SuperMan would have creamed Glory, but SuperBoy had a few problems. I like how Lex might go "good". The way Buffy did not have to die to close the portal means no First later. Not that Caleb and the Bringers could stand up to Clark. The bit with the Buffybot is a great laugh!
All in all a good read, thanks for the story.

I very much enjoyed this, especially since at the beginning I wasn't sure how you would transfer the whole Glorificus shebang to Smallville, but you did it very believably. Glory fitted in with Clark very well and Lex was true to form, especially at the end helping Willow turn into what she eventually became after Tara died from the gunshot wound at Warren's hand.
Everyone was in character, I was a little shocked that you decapitated Lana but hey....there are plenty more pretty girls in the world!
Yes very enjoyable. I have no con-crit for you. The story simply doesn't need it.
Well done.

I think the only comments I can give are "Nothing good can come of this" and "One Bad Day is the OTHER A list DC hero's Paranoia inducing Rogue's catch phrase... and you dodn't want the joker thinking you're steeling his line.

I really enjoyed your spin on Lana. I never hated her in the series, but I wasn't the biggest fan of her either. I'm not sure how I feel about the whole Spaceship/Buffybot thing, but I really enjoyed all your other characterization.
Your depiction of Lex and Willow felt spot on for me; how two in the name of the greater good could commit murder. Their actions seemed to align with the routes their characters take. It was adequately summed up with Lex's comment about Buffy and Clark being heroes, while he was not.
A thoroughly enjoyable read.

I'd read your 'Veritas' before - from another site, I think - which was truly excellent. I've always wanted to find other fanfics of the same high calibre. I was therefore very happy to accidentally discover your account here on TTH yesterday. I think I have some reading to do!
I'm not up to date with my Smallville viewing but I really enjoyed what you did here. I loved the inversion of the characters, how none of them - except maybe Buffy, Clark and ... Spike? - where black-and-white. Willow is still on the track to becoming dark. Lex turned out fairly 'good'! I'm pretty much on his side! We humans to have to be protected, and sometimes all the good wishes and ethics and morals just won't cut the mustard, we can't rely on luck allowing a 'do not kill' principle to allow us to still win the day! I'm very pleased with what you did to Lex; your closing pages on how he'd found a mission in life ... yes, I liked it. Okay, he's still out to become president, but there seemed to be no *personal* goal attached to that desire; his aim seemed relatively selfless - he wants to protect humanity.
Anya and the others realising that one way to stop Glory would be to terminate Dawn themselves, first, was just common sense too. "I'd live to live after all of this", however she put it. :-)
I find myself quite regretting that Clark and Chloe will never know that Lana was 'evil'. I've never liked Lana in the series, even in the early days before they scripted weird witchy stuff for the character. Too much the limpid pretty girl. Chloe, on the other hand, was lovely, and a good friend to Clark. From the point where we first meet her and her face lights on up seeing Clark you had me hoping they'd get together. Okay, they didn't, but her chief opposition is removed, right? :-)
But anyway, here in your story you show us that Lana didn't have sincere feelings for Clark ... and that she was somewhat evil herself. I was quite okay with that. :-)
The buffybot/Jor El thing was entirely unexpected; I'm sort of glad that didn't figure in too large in the plot, otherwise I might have had a problem accepting it. As it was it was a cute sub-plot which did no harm and was both amusing and interesting. I guess adding 'magic' to the mix helped with any suspension of disbelief issues. :-)
For all of Clark's powers and abilities he didn't end up being the sole 'big good' that saved the day; it was quite a group effort. The Superman fanboy part of me always is a bit miffed that there's so much bloody Kryptonite littering the landscape in the Smallville universe; sometimes I wouldn't mind Clark saving the day effortlessly. But I guess writers have to introduce some drama and tension in along the way.
I'll close by saying again how much I enjoyed Veritas; I really should re-read it and then leave a review. It is a wonderful story that I thoroughly enjoyed on my first perusal, a lot of satisfaction from it; you're a talented author.
I'm a stranger to the Smallville/L&C fandoms but am a big Superman comics fan. If you know of other top-notch fanfics that are of a calibre of your own work, if you can rattle off a few titles off the top of your head, I'd appreciate a quick note if you could. I've spent the last few years in a totally different fandom and the idea of starting from scratch and trying to sort the wheat from the chaff is rather daunting!
Thank you very much for your stories!

Great fics, though i disliked how some characters had a mish-mash of their season 5-6 selves put together (e.g Buffy who seemed post-death), especially as it was mostly the 'bad' parts.
